Colin You're the best host in the net. My wife and I are planning a trip Marrakech because of you and would be interested in purchasing a property when we get there. The only suggestion I have when you present a Riad is seeing it at night all lit up. This property at night must be magical at night
Thank you so much, Kevin. We film during the day because we want people to see the properties with good light. Of course, these Raids are magical at night, full of atmosphere and stardust. I have been at this particular Riad for a reception after sunset and it is amazing.

I'm in California and my wife was into mid century but I've totally got her hooked on the Moroccan vibe. I for sure that 3-D construction printer with subframe and intermainframe is the best choice! A touch two different century kitchens indoor climate control a palm freshwater oasis! This is actually a very good part of the Medina. There is good access and you are close to the old city attractions and the new city facilities.

I love your channel. It appears that people want to rid of the Riads as soon as possible. Not a place I would invest in.
There are always buyers and the market is strong.
If you consider the number of people leaving Europe for a less stressfull life, Morocco is a top 5 destinations to retire. Marrakech real estate could be the next Barcelona!

This Riad has been totally rebuilt. It was an abandoned ruin. The space has been brought back to life using local artisans and local materials to recreate an atmosphere. I believe it is a great success. Certainly better than the pile of rubble that was there 15 years ago. Best wishes. Colin
How many sq. Ft is the built up area. Pl focus on architecture more than interiors. Tx
The footprint is 2200 square feet. Total living space is nearly 5000 square feet.

@@asfg2108 It gets chilly in the winter but it doesn't freeze. And daytime temperatures are usually 20c and better.
I like the dry climate and the Marrakech lifestyle!
This Riads supposed to be affordable places to live in the old quarter for a local and working Moroccan families. NOT ANYMORE!!! You are smart . You can guess why..!!!!!
Actually, many Moroccans would rather sell their old Medina property and move into a comfortable apartment somewhere, with hot water and proper sewage arrangements. Foreigners come with money to restore these properties and return them to their former glory. That's the reality.
Indeed, many Moroccans who have made some money are now investing in Marrakech Medina. These can be Moroccans from abroad or from other cities. It's just a question of investment.
