@Schöner Albtraum depends. Sometimes that's the right move. Sometimes that's preferable. Maybe even lots of times. Heck... maybe even most times. If we are talking always/never sort of talk... that's not a thing. That's a thing only an idiot would say. If we are talking about skipping lessons on mechanics with a beginner and saying "just charge bro" than they are also an idiot who doesn't understand how people learn and develop skill. If that's their personal preference based on their own skillset and experience... sure... sounds good to me.

Dude, the very first time I went to play paintball, my cousin and I (our families were really close growing up) were able to talk our dads into going with us. As we were driving to the location (an in-ground warehouse with loud music and very little lighting) I remember us all talking about not wanting to get shot in the nuts. Well, 3 of the 4 of us actually did get some degree of nut shot. And though we were all on the same team, I startled my dad around a corner and he panic squeezed the trigger, tagging me directly in the frank & beans. I went down, lifted my gun up, and tagged him in the forehead as payback. It was seriously one of the funniest damned things I've ever been a part of. There were about 5 other people who saw everything happen and everyone was just dying laughing. After that, I leaned to wear some protective equipment for the boys & bits.

Big thing for cover as well I feel like isn't talked about enough outside of the military: If you pop up out of cover, or even just from prone, and then you go back down or behind cover, MOVE BEFORE YOU POP UP/OUT AGAIN. Super easy to do, can be the difference between getting domed by a waiting shooter or not. Saw seth kinda actually do this once during the video, just wanted to mention it.

This is great content. What you teach also lines up with what I've heard from special forces trainers. Why I love about your content is you give a "why" as to the reason for what you're doing, and for me that just helps drive a point home. Definitely have to look into getting one of those training pistols. One more thing, how do you feel about using a laser sight on a pistol. The main advantage I've heard is being able to fire from unorthodox shooting positions

    • @hard2hurt
      @hard2hurt  Рік тому +3

I have no real experience with lasers. I've maybe played with one once or twice at a range. It's very rare that you need to use an unorthodox shooting position that would require you to be able to see your target but not be able to use your sights.

You are 100% correct, too many people think like movie stars instead of using cover and weapons properly.
You have to stay safe, yes. You have to be sure what you're aiming at, yes.
But if you telegraph your position against a prepared individual, you are dead.
Speed is not that important if you do the first shot properly.

The entire gun is bright orange so maybe that plays a factor, as opposed to BBs which are only bright tipped. Plus the camera guy is there.

You all need to do some kind of parody where the shop owners in the center, freak out about your shenanigans in the parking lot.
In real life, im sure they are happy as hell to have you in the center. If not, they should be.

I purchased a couple of these types of launchers and had put off training with them, because I was worried they would cause too much damage. I guess I'll make sure to include cup, neck guard, and maybe something for the xyphoid area.

I was ready to drop $300 on a pepperball gun before I realized the only reason I wanted it was to play around with. The big boy bear spray style pepper spray canisters are way more reliable and potent if you actually wanted to rely on pepper spray for self defense

100% correct! If you train to stop every time you get hit, then you're training to lose. If you train to keep going, then, if at all possible, you will keep going.

Things that work, works. Alot of these tips are what are being taught to csgo beginners aswell.
Like avoid repeeking the same spot because the enemy will have their crosshair at the same spot you peeked last time and just be ready pull the trigger.
Showing as little of your body as possible when peeking but you shoot from the face in csgo so the gun will always point where you look unless you glance at the side irl which is taught as a nono which I am guilty of doing when holding multiple angles and I dont know where the enemy will come from.
I dont know how much you can hear irl, but sound is also heavily emphasis on to not run around and give your position away from sound which is something I was thinking about when seth took steps in those stones behind the car. Could also make alot of sound one direction on those stone to fake direction and go the other way.
Something that is taught in csgo im not sure if it works irl but in 1v1 situation being farther away from a object is better because you will see his shoulder before he can even see you. Like imagine if you take it to the limit and you hug the face to the wall then your enemy can see your shoulder while you are staring at the wall. So what you do in csgo is the person that is far away from the corner want to slow peek around because he will see his shoulder first and get an advantage while the enemy who is at a disadvantage what to fast peek the corner to limit the amount of time he see your shoulder and you see nothing.
Something I think absolutly does not work irl is something that got many names but one of them is "Ferrari peek". The idea is that your enemy expect you to only show a tiny part of your body on peeking so you will instead run out so they cant just shoot but have to move their aim first and then shooting. If you fail then you have no cover because you just Ferrari peeked but I think this only work in online games because of ping differences. Speaking of ping there is also called peekers advantage where if you peak you will see your enemy first because of ping but this also shoulnt work irl.
