When MICKEY was young, he was one of the best looking, talented, cool, complex, guys on the planet!! Now that he is older, he is Still one of the coolest, talented, interesting people on the planet!!! LOVE MICKEY & RESPECT his resilience, intelligence, & his uniqueness.

I will say to my dying day, Mickey Rourke's performance in Angel Heart was the best acting I'd seen since Brando's in On The Waterfront or Dean's in Rebel Without A Cause. Every mannerism, twitch, pause and emotion was perfect. You couldn't take your eyes off him. It wasn't just his good looks, it was his talent.
When I was growing up, Mickey Rourke was the guy I tried to be like; he was cool but real at the same time. He lived his life the way he wanted to live; no regrets or remorse. Just go forward and live with your decisions.

He had such a charisma..he did not want to compromise.. U have to be ready to pay this price.. and he did.. his life was not easy when he was a child and it was not easy as an adult .. but he lived his live full speed ..

Mickey is absoulutely great.....Pope of Greenwich Village, Angel Heart, Barfly, Homeboy, Prayer for the Dying, White Sands, The Last outlaw, Killshot, Domino, Sin City, The Wrestler, Get Carter, Immortals, Ashby, Bullet, ....He is Honest and Tough....He just isn`t given the great roles always....He needs a tough Director, who won`t let him walk thru his roles...The more they push Mickey, The richer the work.......
