Can you send me a map route of your route, please 🙏? Not a gpx as my mobile phone won't do it. Just a route on the OSMap would be 😎. Fantastic video, mate. Want to do it even on an ankle injury. Back in Coniston September or even before that. WOW video ❤❤❤❤ Jules
Cracking effort 16miles isn't easy in the lakes.i did them clockwise parked at walna scar carpark I camped at grey frier the drop down swirl how was a killer with my dodgy knees lol I did it on a bank holiday weekend early this year the old man was rammed
Great video my friend thank you for taking me along with you absolutely awesome thank you for your hard work Northern California loves a bloke like you
First time I have found your channel and wow! Loved it! I hope to get back to the lakes when I retire in 3 years (lived there for 15 years) and Coniston and the South lakes are my favourite, so thank you for this one! So many good memories. Of course I have subscribed
Bud, dont think alcohol stoves are completely bomb proof. They can be too cold to light, too. You can get pre burners for them to heat up the fluid enough to light.
Aye thats true mate… I seen on a video might of been Paul Messner who said roll a bit of tissue paper, and dip it in the fluid then light it to get the stove going
Enjoyed that, really well put together. I did the exact same route earlier this year on my channel it’s a great walk isn’t it. For your stove, you can just put two pegs across the top of the stand and put your pot on that. Just the cheap tent pegs you can get.
Good pitch in the end Liam. I’ve been near there twice in similar conditions. Couldn’t see a thing. Camped in Walna Scar slate mines not far from there.
Another great video! I just did the old man of Coniston and back in July. Them steps! 😳 I did the old copper mines the day after and really good parking spot just past the copper museum towards the YHA. Glad you found a good spot!
Enjoyed that mate cheers👍🏻 I’m new here, found you as I’m doing it myself in a fortnight & doing some vlog research 😂…I’m torn on clockwise or anti-clockwise 🤔…can I ask if parking was okay for wetherlam path? Cheers thanks for sharing, stay safe
Top man Liam. Only discovered your channel about 10 days ago and have been binge watching all your videos. Another quality watch! What app are you using to navigate?
Really enjoyed this one mate 👍just wondering, how many hours of footage did you record for this video and how long did it take you to edit/produce. Thank you for your efforts, much appreciated 😊cheers Liam, stay safe and God bless you mate 💪🙏🙏
Thanks Colin, this 1 no more than a couple hours footage i’d say, and editing wise i’m not too sure usually do it over a few days just as and when I get time after work etc. 😊👍🏼
I really like the long uploads but maybe you could have split it into 3 , 20 minute uploads.....cock teased us a long for each episode . Might make it easier to edit and the regular uploads could help the subscriber count...... keep up the good work

@@GoodBlokeOutdoors if you're just gonna use a small small squirty bottle, stick it in a pocket for an hour before you use it. Works well enough.
