    Can you send me a map route of your route, please 🙏? Not a gpx as my mobile phone won't do it. Just a route on the OSMap would be 😎. Fantastic video, mate. Want to do it even on an ankle injury. Back in Coniston September or even before that. WOW video ❤❤❤❤ Jules

      Hi Jules I think the route is in the description but if you need the gpx file email me contact@goodblokeoutdoors.com and i’ll send you it 🫨

    Bud, dont think alcohol stoves are completely bomb proof. They can be too cold to light, too. You can get pre burners for them to heat up the fluid enough to light.

    • @GoodBlokeOutdoors
      @GoodBlokeOutdoors  Рік тому

      Aye thats true mate… I seen on a video might of been Paul Messner who said roll a bit of tissue paper, and dip it in the fluid then light it to get the stove going

      @@GoodBlokeOutdoors if you're just gonna use a small small squirty bottle, stick it in a pocket for an hour before you use it. Works well enough.

    Enjoyed that, really well put together. I did the exact same route earlier this year on my channel it’s a great walk isn’t it.
    For your stove, you can just put two pegs across the top of the stand and put your pot on that. Just the cheap tent pegs you can get.

      @GoodBlokeOutdoors  Рік тому +1

      Great tip mate thank you, don’t know how often i’ll use the alcohol stove, but deffo gonna take it as a back up in winter 👌🏼
