That might also not be the stock rack. Some swap a stock base model rack which doesn't have an as favorable ratio. (However my daily is a GMC Sierra pickup so I'm comparison it really seems quick ratio for me.)
Took mine up Mount Washington and hope to carve some California canyons when I head back out west next year.
Definitely a few ways to solve the exhaust problem but bolting on the stock manifolds that I was given was by far the easiest. I always wondered why they changed armrests, now I know!
Interesting to hear about the rack, I don't think it's crazy slow but maybe I'll have to check mine.
Cool car! But it felt like I was listening to two whiny b#@ches. Bring Adam back ASAP.
3:12 deal with it
Always loved this car's performance. Hate it's reliability
Dan whats wrong with the 07’s reliability?
@@Sessions1 The rear diff couldn't handle the power was the main issue. Plus it's a gm, see Scotty Kilmer's view on that haha
Dan did you not learn anything about this video? This is an 07 with the sting diff, the one that doesn’t break. You’re referring to 04-05..
@@Sessions1 My mistake. I thought it was the 08 model year where they resolved the issue. I hadn't watched this video in a while
Dan this car only ran through 04-07 Cadillac didn’t make a V for 08
Brilliant intro
He said the only thing is that the shifter buzzes but you “just crank up the horrible Bose system” 😂 As somewhat of an audiophile this made me crack up so hard! Lol because Bose is way overrated 😂 these guys are a riot!
I have a 2004 Seville I bought used, with a Bose, and it doesn't sound much better than the basic system in my old Silverado! For what that cost new it was a ripoff, but then look at the cost of any luxury car and the option(s) cost. I also have a 2005 STS V8 with a Bose and about 10 speakers and it doesn't sound much better than the Seville's 5 speaker.
Anyway, I only found out after buying the Seville and STS that the old CTS-V's were all 6 speed sticks! I kind of knew they had 'Vette motors but assumed they were auto's or a choice of manual or auto. They must be one of the very few manual only cars, esp. for sedans (!) in recent years. Crazy! I want one!
Too bad you guys didn't hit me back about my 04. It had a 408 stroker. Still, nearly the same car.
HowaShooter that’s not a factory v motor anymore it isn’t as cool.
@@Sessions1 650hp isn't cool? That's weird
HowaShooter just isn’t a V anymore, it’s swapped so yeah
@@Sessions1 it was the same blocks that came in the Vs. So maybe you are just ignorant of how GM built these things?
HowaShooter I’m not, I personally think it’s cool, they just don’t care because it’s heavily modified they want to test drive a pure v.
Yeeeah. Corbin is back 🤙🏽 hate that guy ♥️
The diff is made of glass....
I miss Matt
That goes to e55 my good sir
Yeah it’s a good car until you need to make repairs then it’s a money pit and headache
@@jlopez1017d not really, price for parts have come down significantly and there are so many resources and for the most part they are easier to work on than domestics.
Hamza I know 2 people who got rid of their cars because of costs. I’m not sure what went wrong but they said the repairs were expensive. I really wanted one but I got scared off especially since I’m not a good mechanic I’d rather pay a professional to do the work
@@jlopez1017d well there you go. If your ok with getting your hands dirty its affordable otherwise just like any other car its gonna cost$$$
Hamza I went with a 335i I have no regrets so far
Where's Matt?
Btw Corbin you tha goat
Dude, where have you been?? It's been probably 2 years since matt did this sort of one take.
Thanks my guy
😂 funny conversation close out and video 😋
Exotique en Europe..... Hélas..
Cool car!!!!
Corbin!
Omg the mormons are at the door...
Kid needs to learn how to drive .
Damn. Those cars didn’t age well at all. Compare this to its competitors at the time and it looks like it’s out of the 80’s compared to them. Only time I see these today is around my drug dealers neighborhood
I am the 555th thumbs up.
This guy drives 💩box BMW'S but he get to complain about Porsche 911.
If people were only allowed to complain about cars in the price range they could afford, the internet would be a VERY quiet place. ZK
Ok boomer.
@Believe Inyourself Ok boomer.
