MeatEater The Movie. Premise of the movie bring back everyone for an epic several day hunt/hunt camp. Deer, elk, duck, doesn’t matter. One episode the Meateater Crew, Rogan, Cam Hanes, Evan Hafer, Luke Combs, Jack Carr. Bring an epic team together and film one big epic hunt. Meateater The Movie
I hope at some point they make long cuts like that, even if we had to pay for it a slower version would be great. I've been watching all the buck truck episodes and as a hunter I really like the way they show a lot more of the mundane aspects of hunting that we know all too well.
Best thing about the Meateater boys is listening to them completely disagree go back and forth while continually laughing as they do it, that’s a great group of friends.
If you've been waiting to catch Season 11 on our UA-cam channel, you won't have to wait long. We'll start launching episodes early July, so stay tuned!
How about a behind the scenes video on the logistics of the hunt and especially bringing home the meat and horns! Loved the format!!! Keep it coming. Kevin
I still remember the day they released the podcast episode coming back from this hunt. I actually didn’t realize that it was going to be on the show, but when I saw that it dropped, I was so excited and it easily became my favorite episode of the season! Such an amazing story.
Steve is an EXCELLENT communicator. He makes you feel as if you hunting with them. I get the itch…every episode! Glad I found this on UA-cam as I watched all the Netflix episodes, 2-3 times.
I cried watching this episode because that little “argument” over who was going to shoot reminded me of the dispute I’d watch my father and uncles have when I was a child hunting with them, and then when I got older, between me and my father.
"The Real Story" should be a series you continue alongside "Meat Eater", and we'll still love it even if you don't put as much editing/production finesse to it. Its wonderful to hear to give new life to an older episode.
Steve, You’re the type of guy I look for in friends. Pushing those around you to get out and live and thinking of others besides yourself. Wish you guys could’ve gotten two of em on that hunt
Yup! We’re gonna need more of this.. how about a three-part episode each time? A prep, hunt and after hunt episode.. dumb question now I think about it, because the answer obviously is ‘great freakin idea!’ Let’s goooo!!
I'm 53 years old 5'-5" 130 lbs. hunted Alaska wilderness by myself. I harvested three Bull moose in the pass five years. 2022 I had over 750lbs of bone in moose meat in a Beaver bush plane. You don't have to be crazy to hunt Alaska by yourself, but it helps.
I could listen to Steve talk all day. I don’t even hunt (I want to), but this is one of my favorite shows. All the meat eater content is great. Please don’t stop 🙏🏽
Steve, Clay and Meateater this would have to be one of my favorite episodes I have seen here.. Please try show a few more videos like this.. Thanks heaps for sharing this. .
I love meat eater. My former boyfriend would talk about hunting and different things he would experience and it wasn't until watching this show I fully understood what he meant about various situations with turkey hunting, deer, etc. Thank you producing a show that female viewers can enjoy as well as males and helping myself gain a better understanding of what occurs during the hunting process for different types of hunts!
I’d love to see you guys get back to showing more of the field dressing, processing, and cooking along with the hunts. Lots of valuable content in that format.
Also, i absolutely love this story time, shooting the shit about the hunt type videos. Brings a lot of added transparency and good ole banter to the stories we have heard or watched
You guys should absolutely do extended episodes on UA-cam or at least more of this talking about the hunt because you are right there is so much more unseen in the episodes then what gets put out!
Omg my dad used to give me the same stare when I was six. I’m 47 now and have several record deer on my was, plus champion coon hounds, and a mountain feist that’s crazy over squirrels. Love your content
Thanks for the add on; really makes a big difference to have that insight, and witness your comraderie !! I can’t imagine sitting and glassing for 9 days ….
I think a video like this, or even just a podcast style recording should be done for every hunt. I miss the old podcasts from being in the field on a hunt, or a hunt recap pod. I think everyone that was on the hunt should sit down and talk out the trip. should be showcasing Seths photography as well. cheers
wanted to watch this on your website but my browsers cant handle the video for some reason im excited to see these. I think ill try to watch them again
Great Video Guys ! I watched it TWICE!! I love seeing behind the scenes all about your gear and how you get there Thanks for sharing !!! I would LOVE a video or series about your gear prep and planning of trips, what it takes to support a filmed trip like this, but maybe that is all a secret ! LOL
This is amazing, when this episode ended I thought to myself "shyte! I'd have liked and hour or so. At least them packing it out and getting picked up by the plane"
Gotta say, I really enjoy seeing this kinda stuff. The shows themselves are n'all don't get me wrong...they're AWESOME!😀👍 That being said, the stories and the behind the scenes of what is being made? GREAT STUFF, BIGTIME!😊 Thank you for makin this. Peace ✌😀
❤❤❤ I love this kind of content!! I'd love to get something like this on every hunt and of every episode. I'd also like to get LONGER episodes. Like hour long episodes. Yall record so much content. Don't tell me yall can't make it longer. It would be easier. Less you have to leave out.
You guys should try and get Billy from Modern Day Mountain Man out for a hunt or some videos of some sort. He is a great guide up in alaska mostly, guiding in the Brooks range and Kodiak island and what not. Would be awesome too see a collab of some sort between steve and billy.
You can easily make each episode 1-2 hours long and everyone would still watch every single moment because we can Never get enough Meateater
Yes!.... Longer and more in depth...
Agreed! They are wayyyyy too short!
MeatEater The Movie. Premise of the movie bring back everyone for an epic several day hunt/hunt camp. Deer, elk, duck, doesn’t matter. One episode the Meateater Crew, Rogan, Cam Hanes, Evan Hafer, Luke Combs, Jack Carr. Bring an epic team together and film one big epic hunt. Meateater The Movie
Completely agree. MeatEater can be Long form because the viewers are passionate. Not normal click bait youtube viewers.
I hope at some point they make long cuts like that, even if we had to pay for it a slower version would be great. I've been watching all the buck truck episodes and as a hunter I really like the way they show a lot more of the mundane aspects of hunting that we know all too well.

Ok, this needs to be a regular occurrence! This was amazing
Absolutely this is a wonderful format of video!

Watched them here in the uk the day of release haha waiting and waiting
How about a behind the scenes video on the logistics of the hunt and especially bringing home the meat and horns! Loved the format!!! Keep it coming. Kevin
Have you ever made a video on your journey through hunting and how you started hunting?
If not would make one?
A video or podcast on what went into getting the bill home would be great for us that are planning an Alaska trip
@@mathewhepple4336where did you watch it?
Every episode needs this. I’ve been saying this forever, I’d happily watch 1hr episodes. Love seeing all of the prep and and planning that happens
Meateater already had the best content on YT. Now you guys just stepped it up a notch with this episode. This needs to be included from now on.
Could include more of this in the show and make the episodes touch longer. This is great stuff
💯👍
Agree. 21-22 minutes is a bit too short. At least 30 min. would be better.
This was great, would love to see more of this video format.

I seriously can’t get enough meateater content!
Love getting to hear more about what goes on behind the scenes
"The Real Story" should be a series you continue alongside "Meat Eater", and we'll still love it even if you don't put as much editing/production finesse to it. Its wonderful to hear to give new life to an older episode.
Its good to see Steven actually hunt again.
Holy shit, MORE OF THIS PLEASE! Steve saying "holy shit Clay" at the end really gave me chills.
Steve, You’re the type of guy I look for in friends. Pushing those around you to get out and live and thinking of others besides yourself. Wish you guys could’ve gotten two of em on that hunt
I've been saying that you guys need to do a behind the scenes recap and I was right. This is so good. KEEP doing these!
Yup! We’re gonna need more of this.. how about a three-part episode each time? A prep, hunt and after hunt episode.. dumb question now I think about it, because the answer obviously is ‘great freakin idea!’ Let’s goooo!!
We need more of this content!! Great to hear the additional info related to a hunt!
This is the best layout from the hunts! I want this controlled civil banter of each other it’s the best!!

This felt just like one of your audiobooks. Please do more of these.
Steve, Clay and Meateater this would have to be one of my favorite episodes I have seen here..

This was incredible. I love this format for letting us know the behind the scenes
Watching this makes me relive my AK moose hunt, and that is a memory I will never forget!
I’d love to see you guys get back to showing more of the field dressing, processing, and cooking along with the hunts. Lots of valuable content in that format.
I moved to Alaska because of you. Thank you. I feel complete here.
Great behind the scenes shoot now just double the season length and have this alongside every episode that goes out! Can’t wait for the next season!
Yes! much more of this please. Behind scenes and directors cut!!!!!!!!
Clay seems like a genuine humble dude.
We DESPERATELY need more of these "Real Story" videos!!!
I love all the hunting shows you have made in the past. This was unique, to see the interaction of personalities was very enjoyable.
Anything with steve rinella makes me so excited!
Boys, this is fantastic. Not sure you cats find the time to do all you do but more of this would be outstanding!
Thank you guys for sharing this with us, I needed a good laugh, wised you would share more of these videos
These guys are amazing. I really enjoy listening to these conversations, on Podcast as well.
Since moving to Japan I really miss that vibe.
Also, i absolutely love this story time, shooting the shit about the hunt type videos. Brings a lot of added transparency and good ole banter to the stories we have heard or watched

What is there left to say? It's good content!
Omg my dad used to give me the same stare when I was six. I’m 47 now and have several record deer on my was, plus champion coon hounds, and a mountain feist that’s crazy over squirrels. Love your content

What a fantastic type show! Do more!
I'd love more like this. And longer formats too. These are always awesome
As always, great show and nice way to show what really happens on a hunting trip!
I think a video like this, or even just a podcast style recording should be done for every hunt. I miss the old podcasts from being in the field on a hunt, or a hunt recap pod. I think everyone that was on the hunt should sit down and talk out the trip. should be showcasing Seths photography as well. cheers
This makes that episode so much better
This is awesome. I love watching Steve hunting. NEED TO SEE MORE OF HIM AND HIS HUNTS
This was awesome! I left a comment on the episode when it first came out but this explains everything.
This was so cool. Great to see the interviews and other views of the hunt. Hope to see more!
Steve is hilarious! I love how real he keeps it!
Dang Rinella, we need MORE of these videos! I'm havin' withdraws!!
I loved this. I hope you guys do more of these. Steve and Clay make a great duo. I also like Steve and Janis.
That right there folks, is why Steve is the boss. 💯
wanted to watch this on your website but my browsers cant handle the video for some reason im excited to see these. I think ill try to watch them again
The real story, or behind the scenes is as cool to watch as the real episode. Well not quit but real close at least. Very cool!
These episodes are great. BTS details are awesome.
I love this! Really enriches the original story!
Clay is the best story teller of all time
You could literally post 100 unedited hours of content and I feel like I’d watch every minute 😂
Yes steve is back
This was such an incredible episode! So glad you made this video! Keep killin it! No pun intended lol
Awesome show! Good job Chester. Clay, and Steve.
Hopefully after moving up here to Alaska last year, I'll be able to get one this year.
I miss moose hunting in Alaska. It's my favorite meat.
Been there done that. Twice. Mulchatna. VERY COSTLY ADVENTURE. Figure double at least. Would be nice to hear this discussed.
Please bring back the older style longer format episodes! This was a great addition to the Alaskan hunt!!
Do you mean the TV show? It never aired on UA-cam, older episodes were just uploaded here. The longer episodes are on Netflix and the website.
LOL
Yeah, we’re going to need more of these!
Missed you Steve-O!!!! 🪖💥 🌞🕊️
Love it 👏👏 it's so hard to articulate the random, slow and interesting parts that aren't able to make the cut, but you guys nailed it👌
hell yeah, need more Clay
Oh this is such an awesome format!
This was awesome. Please do more of these.
I just really want to watch a detailed breakdown of the hunting room and organization of it all!
This is amazing, when this episode ended I thought to myself "shyte! I'd have liked and hour or so. At least them packing it out and getting picked up by the plane"
We need more of this!
Absolutely need more of these videos
This is an awesome idea for a segment.
Well done, content was great, the inside story!! Epic
Hells yeah, this was great. Reminds me of deer camp in the mountains.
Clay.... the beard works brother! Love the vid guys!
One hell of a hunting partner to give his trip for a buddy to shoot a bull. That's a true friend right there😊
Chet:
“Did you ever think of maybe letting me shoot it??”
Best line of the video 4:57
Please make this a recurring series!!!!
Clay popped in my mind when I heard about he song SAM by Sturgill Simpson
Meateater is so lucky to have Clay.
Steve. Hear me out. Ski in caribou hunt in March in the brooks range. That is all. Have fun pondering that thought.
Coffee table books
Hysterical!
Peace ✌😀

50 seconds in... and I love this!
Finally an episode I can watch.
Easily some of ya'lls best content!
Clay coulda poked em with the bow there! Nothing beats time spent in moose camp.
Love seeing you guys doing this
having only heard Chester on the podcast, and never seen him, I think he looks a lot more normal than he sounds like on the pod.
Him and Seth have a walleye tournament show they did a while back
You guys should try and get Billy from Modern Day Mountain Man out for a hunt or some videos of some sort. He is a great guide up in alaska mostly, guiding in the Brooks range and Kodiak island and what not. Would be awesome too see a collab of some sort between steve and billy.
just curious why there was no footage of the bull after?
Have you ever made a video on your journey through hunting and how you started hunting?
If not would make one?
