Never in my life have I seen a candidate articulate the issues we are facing and what we need to do to solve them. Marianne absolutely has my vote.
She seems to have a genuine desire to alleviate human suffering. I am trying to understand the people who say she has no qualifications to run for president. Or those who seem to be only want status quo candidates who only commit to helping the average American limp a long in an economic system designed to drain their wealth and transfer it to the capitalists and corporatists who are thriving.

I has honestly surprised.
Williamson is, at minimum, running to manage the United States' response to a war waged by the world's second largest military. She has no foreign policy experience, no experience running a global organization, nor any experience running a domestic organization. She recognizes this and consciously focuses on rhetoric echoing domestic issues important to democratic primary voters, yet lacks the institutional understanding as to how to get her solutions implemented. Her candidacy isn't serious and shouldn't be taken seriously. There is too much at stake for any American to take her seriously, save for that she appears on television.
Mad respect for her. She doesn't just talk humanitarian values, she lives them. That's what I want in a leader.

Just read the Politico article. What it says to me is that MW is human (ie capable of care and harm), which is what her campaign is all about. Living a principled life isn’t about being ‘a good person’; it’s about striving to become conscious of the person you are - truth, honesty, self-reflection. This article, where former staffers brandish their victimhood, has nothing to do with helping future staffers; if that was the case, it might ask questions about the context in which a leader can become so maddened or distressed that they lead in an abrasive or even abusive fashion. MW is not a victim, nor is she simply a perpetrator; she’s human, and humanity is what her campaign is all about. Sadly, this article uses victims as pawns to further an anti-human, nihilistic agenda that goes by the names of neoliberalism or neofascism. I trust that MW will reflect on her leadership style and her potential to do harm. In the meantime, she still has my vote.

When did she articulate policy? Policy is actual program, logistics, and strategy for implementation. All she articulates is lofty goals and ideals. This was often Bernie's downfall. Republicans will accept that, but Democrats not so much.

So Williamson was over 65 before realizing that Medicare for All(or National Healthcare) was necessary, and now we should follow her? She also asserted here that Biden said he’d veto Medicare for All, when Biden didn’t. On that question, he said: “I’d veto anything that delays providing the security and the certainty of healthcare being available now”
When someone is running for such a high office, it’s best to check one’s facts

Honestly I would love Marienne to hold high office in the US she could bring about a lot of change. I have recently started reading her books and this woman is slowly changing my life for the better. The fact that her “plan” doesn’t even specify projected capacity for any renewables source, which is literally the quantity of energy by source, tells me this moron hasn’t done a lick of research on the topic and just completely made up the timeframe for completion.

Also RPS is not the same thing as generative capacity. RPS was solely for earned value of generating sourcing. Meaning that you could buy 80% renewable contracts and get federal findings while actually achieving 30% renewable capacity in your state here. If you’re gonna support federal RPS - might be a good idea to actually understand how the f@ck that system actually worked…..

If I had a dollar every time an interviewer asks a progressive candidate, "How are you going to pay for it?" (when talking about Healthcare or education), I'd be richer than Elon Musk. That question is NEVER brought up when talking about funding the military or tax cuts for the wealthy. Like Marianne said, we're paying more for healthcare than every country on Earth, and yet regular citizens are still not covered for their basic human needs.

Anyone who knows anything about politics and the presidency knows that the president has a whole team of advisors and access to the best minds and data in the world. They don't need any experience in government. What they really need is intelligence and common decency. We have seen plenty of presidents without those basic qualities, but they had lots of so called "experience" in government and you end up with people like Nixon, Bush, or Trump(no intelligence, experience, or common decency).

I'm honestly impressed. She is a writer so she's amazing at wording things. I'm curious of the details of her life. I had never heard of her
She was taken to Vietnam by her father, who was an immigration lawyer, during the war, to see the effects of war. She struggled with addiction in her youth, and got into self help. She started Project Angle Food to help AIDS patients, specifically to get homebound patients food, but also massage and things to provide comfort, at a time when a lot of the public were scared to even touch them. She co-founded The Peace Alliance, and helped a lot with Sister Giant. For the past two years, since her previous presidential run, she's been talking to down ballot progressives on her podcast, to get their messages to a wider audience. I learned a lot about state legislature, listening to those interviews.

I'm so happy that we're at a place where someone like Marianne Williamson can be a candidate. I don't know if the world is really fully ready yet but she is making a difference already. Hopefully in the next generation, we can actually vote someone like her in. She's incredible and fueled by integrity, compassion and truth. One day...
