One can always tell a master in his craft when he can perform 100% of all tasks required to complete a job. Very well done!!
I am always impressed with your skill to replace missing carvings. Great job!
I haven’t seen that technique of 50% acetone & 50% mineral spirits to soften the lawyer before. That was cool! You did excellent work as always!
Yesterday I was thinking that it had been a while, and today here you are! What a lovely wardrobe and gorgeous restoration, Ahti. Thanks for sharing this with us all as well as sharing your awesome talents.
A wonderful job. The replacement carving you did was perfect. Also, I loved how you handled the interior finish too. Carol from California
Beautiful set. Saving Estonian history, art, and culture, one piece at a time.
Wow, just gorgeous! Simple design so suited for that wood, really brings out its warmth and character. Thanks for bringing us along.
Great restoration! Such a simple piece yet beautiful in its simplicity! The carving you recreated completed it! They REALLY do complete this beautiful piece. And wow such a great look on the inside as well! If this piece could talk I have no bought it would be extremely thankful!
One of my top favorites of your restorations!
Seriously, are you a vampire that has lived for centuries? Because how the hell have you acquired all this knowledge on different techniques and methods. I feel like you show us something new in every video lol. I've said it before and I'll say it once more I hope you have an apprentice that all these teachings will go to so they can carry on your work for future generations.. or maybe I was right the first time and you really are a vampire haha. 🧛♂️
Ha,ha. Very good 😂😂😂
Rotflmfao! Good one!
I think that after NAFTA was enacted and the Internet took off people just lost the skills.
Nothing is "made in America" anymore and housing is so expensive that only the wealthy can afford homes. A furniture restorer would live in poverty. No kid wants to be creative anymore when they can work on Wall Street and get rich quick.
Public schools even eliminated art classes 😮
Love watching you bringing items back to life.
Simple yet elegant design beautifully given new life. I had a similar wardrobe in my bedroom as a small child. At night, a shimmering silver ball would appear from under the wardrobe and hover above the foot of my bed for several seconds before returning to whatever dimension it came from. It wasn't scary at all, rather comforting in fact. My parents never believed me ofc.
It's a great day when there's a new video from AT Restoration!! Wonderful job, as always! I learn so much watching this channel!
Obrigado!
Turned out great, just this morning someone left something at my shops front door that's vaneer, searched youtube and found your video for some great tips, so thank you!.
Wow now that Lady has a back yard and a back patio. Way to go you two. God bless.
Loved the carving!
Beautiful! 👍
I love the matching set!
+1
With great patience, he performed a miracle!
I am amazed by the paint stripping.
Beautiful restoration of an old schrank.
Beautiful workmanship!
How beautiful this is. I am fascinated at how you restore these pieces.
The wardrobe looked wonderful when you finished restoring it. Thank you,
And he’s a carver 😳👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Such a beautiful piece!!!
Leida would be so happy to know that her wardrobe was brought back to life with such care and love. ❤️Stunning work!
That’s exactly what I was thinking! Great job, Ahti
I was thinking the same, C Duff and Siddi Gorsky.
Since the Estonian Lady Leida has a different perspective lately -- and likely won't comment on Her wardrobe's "resurrection" and restoration -- I hope there're some Companions of Leida's Who remember it both from the 30s and after It, as All of Us tend to do, got a lil' bit wrinkled and dented and unstable at the joints while aging. The wardrobe is "aLive and well" again! And sill carrying It's historic delivery and train shipping markings.
Surely, Those that knew It would be even more impressed than We are at the results of "the Master's hand".
And thank You AT for the recipe of 50% acetone and 50% spirits -- under an absorbent pad and plastic -- to remove old finishes; "the Master's" Mind is even more impressive than His hands!

beautiful, I love these classic wardrobes, especially the tiger oak ❤😁
I literally only come on UA-cam to check if you’ve posted a new video. Love your work so so much you always do an amazing job!
Could watch you repair furniture everyday ❤😊
These classic wardrobes are beautiful ❤
The shelving system is very interesting. Glad you used shellac and French Polish.
Restored beautifully. Great look after restoration.
I love the inside of the doors, very Art Deco. Beautiful work.
It becomes whole and glows once again, bravo. So good to share with friends another way to do a task.
Another piece saved! Great work!🇦🇺👴🏻
You are a magic man.
So happy to see you and your skills at work again! Thank you.
Love your detail work...even the matching of the screw head direction!!!!😊
If Leida was still with us I bet she would give you a big hug & kiss for the amazing restoration on her wardrobe 👍🏻 Stunning job as always ⭐️
Amazing, masterful techniques!
Very nice job as usual… so cool that you researched the owner… too… not just a piece of furniture… a bit of history too…👌 Thanks 🙏

Your expertise is so astounding. It's beautiful to watch you in action.
I didn't think it would turn out so well!
Watching this in Seattle, Washington, USA
Thank You, first of all, for the video. I learned something interesting here: 50/50 acetone and spirit will lift shellac better than commercial stripper! As a novice furniture restorer, in my other life, I could've used the information you impart in your video's. I appreciate you expertise and ability to see what a project can be. Wonderful wardrobe outcome.
There was another layer of something that was very hard on the shellac, that is why we used acetone.
Out standing job I could watch you carve wood all day it is so satisfying to watch again well done
Brilliant job, your friend really did show an alternative to paint stripper. Would like to see more carving being done you seem to be very good at it.
Such a lovely, simple yet elegant piece. Amazing work!
It's beautiful. The LORD Jesus has certainly gifted you in this. All the little additives to make the job easier and more affective were simple. Master craftsman. I think the elderly would have been very blessed to see what you were able to do with something she no doubt used for years.
Beautiful work.
Very beautiful! ❤
What a beautiful restoration! You gave the piece the care and quality restoration it deserved. Love it!
You are a master! Thank you so much for your time and all of your hard work! You are wonderful!
A simple but elegant design. Nice job as always. Seems like months since the last video. Already looking forward to the next one..
wow. it's like watching a love story. you put so much care into restoring this piece. I always enjoy your videos. thank you
The handles are like jewelry! ❤
Beautiful! You do such nice work.
Makes you wonder what Leida Osi experienced in her life. This wardrobe looks perfect now, you did a fantastic job as always.
Awesome! Another beautiful restoration!
Ahti, I could hear that wood saying “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” When you removed that ugly, lumpy old finish with that interesting procedure. A splendid restoration, as always. I too say Thank you!
Great job, I get to learn how to care for my furniture too.
Birdy
You have given a new and beautiful life to the old one!
A beautiful piece of restoration work
WOW. It is a real pleasure to watch you work.
What a beautiful bedroom set. You are a master craftsman.
An elegant piece reminding us of a time when value was placed on aesthetics as well as practicality.
Nice Art Deco'esque detaling on the front panels of the doors, with the angled lines of the veneer
Excellent job; beautifully finish! ⭐️ Leida Osi would be proud!
Beautiful!
Beautiful restoration. Thank you

You are incredible. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
I love the direction of the grain on the doors. However, i would like to see the inside outside. Beautiful refinish, the way i used to do it 50 yrs ago.
A real simplistic beauty!
Stunning work!! Beautifully simple design.

As ever, another great video from AT. I love these videos so much.
Those wall brackets are cool. Never seen anything like it.
I really like how you replicated that missing carvings, and damaged feet of the wardrobe. Beautiful restoration of the wardrobe from the days before clothes closets.
Nice job! We will wait for your new projects. Take care.
Yet again Ahti, another great job. It's always nice to see one of your videos pop up. Thanks for the upload.
What a beautiful piece!
