Other than the b-12 it literally is just Gatorade basically. We’ve had other firefighters, flight medics, and cops either come by the station after a night out, or we’ve went by their houses and put a line in so they could work the next day lol
Being a medic for 30 years I may or may not have seen this occur from time to time. Possibly in the fire station but more so in the field. When we would bring some of the frequent flyers who were on the alcohol overdose train into the E.R. they would get what is called a banana bag. Its basically a 1000ml bag of normal saline infused with a bunch of electrolytes and minerals that make it look yellow. What also helps is huffing in pure oxygen as what is in the air is about 21%. So es that can ease the hangover and many do feel better but scientifically the only true cure is time. It has to work its way thru the system and your dying friend the liver has to have time to do its magic. Cheers!
My hangover cure when I was doing much more drinking in my early days was Excedrin Max with caffeine and lots of water. The Excedrin killed the headache which was the worst part for me, and the water would get me hydrated.
Yeah, it definitely works. This happens in fire and EMS stations quite frequently. You’ll be a new human in no time. Really useful for bachelor parties and golf trips.
a very salty Bloody Mary with slices of bacon in it. Double shot of Titos. It was the only reason I was able to make it to the st Patricks day parade this year after going out for my birthday the night before and having about 20 pints of yuengling.
So I literally drink a pint of hydration drink one of the electrolytes tablets before bed helps 40% coffee in morning 10% shower 5% dirt bag shit 10% man up for rest
Try garlic, with good amount of complex food, mostly from unmodified stuff. Good amount means: you just a tiny bit ruin your food with it. :) Ofc you'll need this while you drink. You'll enjoy it. Garlic contains some precursors of your liver enzyme which gets rid of acetaldehyde, the primary cause of those hard to survive hangovers. For curing your dehydration just throw some isotonic stuff, or make a big jug of very strong limonade, with lots of sugar (but in a good harmony with that double-triple dose of lemon juice), and with a nice teaspoon of salt (think in salty caramel terms when you throw it in). Stir, drink, eat some light but hearty food, and you're ready to create at most 2 hours after awakening.

I hate needles so my hangover cure is a big bowl of Pho. Works every time.
Hell ya and crap load of sriracha!
I’ve had a few saline bags while I’m pretty hungover. At some point the hangover just over powers the hydration. Maybe the vitamins would be better…

💯
Yeah F that. If you're dehydrated drink some water.
Easy enough to avoid a hangover anyway.

People get hangovers for many reasons. Being dehydrated is only one of the reasons. Time off booze is the only way
Vitamin c and b plus saline iv drip is 15 bucks here in Thailand. It works, feel super hydrated.
Miso soup takes me from dry Haven back to normal in 30 minutes
Drink water and run or drink more beer, I would say the second option, cheers Braj 🍻

I've seen that you can consume yeast to prevent a hangover, but it also keeps you from getting buzzed... also causes diarrhea in the morning.
💯
Luckily never reached that point but good to know it is an option I guess! Usually hair o' dog will do the trick
