Thank you for this. I grew up shamed and fearful and guilty. Are used drugs, and alcohol to escape, and finally at age 21 put those down. I grew up in the church, but it kind of went in one ear and out the other than I found Jesus I knew he had been in my life the whole time I couldn’t see it.
