- Three tracks for three Jenova fights across two games, all in one mix split into two versions. Have fun making sense of that lol.
This is the second version. Like the One-Winged Angel Mashup I did, this is the second of two attempts at splicing these Jenova themes together into one mix, like a multi-layered boss fight; there's a subtle difference between this one and the first version but they're fundamentally constructed the same way. I actually like this one a bit more than the first one I did!

I love Jenova's designs. They really threw it in your face that you are fighting an alien menace. And my God bro, what a fantastic job you did with this.
They definitely made sure not to skimp on designs, Jenova's especially.

I´ve been listening to this for days in nonstop, Jenova music solely is so good but this mix makes it even more terrifying. It´s a monster that you don´t really understand but you know how dangerous it is. Can´t wait for remake part 3!!!

I liked this version better than the first one I made... this one sounds like you're about to finish the fight halfway through but then "Emergence" starts playing and you're going for another seven rounds lol

I'm pretty sure there is no better way to arrange the new Jenova themes than in thos video. This is the perfect mix unless there's some microsecond adjustment needed on cut times or something.

Believe me, in the process of mixing this I was very particular about maintaining continuity, getting specific timings correct, etc. There were some parts where the cuts weren't clean, and I had to manipulate the audio to make it work without it sounding like it was obviously from another section

That Chanting sent CHILLS down my spine.
I feel like the emergent version would have suited better after the first two stages of quickening. To keep the horror vibe, having it end with the triumphant lifebringer version.
That aside, this is mixed incredibly well. Really skilled dude

I actually did two versions of this, to experiment with how Emergent and Tenacity would sound after the first two stages of Quickening. Third stage Quickening + a tiny portion of Tenacity's ending was the conclusion for both mixes, but in the first version Emergent follows after Quickening instead of Tenacity. I encourage you to check out that one if you haven't already!
This is awesome. If you do something similar with Death and Synthesis when part 3 comes out, I cant wait.

I'll do another mix after Part 3 comes out, for sure. I realized when I posted my One-Winged Angel megamix, Part 3's One-Winged Angel theme will be the "final" one, and it'll force me to make a completely new mix... and I have to make it sound different somehow lol. I'll learn my lesson and hold off on making a megamix for Jenova's theme until Part 3.
