Actually these are not the richest people in Nigeria but these are the ones that the "radar" has caught up with and can be valued. But Nigeria is a place one can make a LOT of money when one can be consistent, dogged and BREAKTHROUGH a certain barrier. It's actually difficult in Nigeria to "breakthrough" that barrier but once you do, you enter another level...

i need to drop this here quick, Otedola lost all his fortune some years back when his fleet with 1million barrels of diesel on the sea and the price crashed. that forced him out of his ownership of Xenon oil. At the set time he was about the second richest and came to almost nothing. Thankfully after some years he's back at the top

I was part of the team constructing 40.2 billion naira residential building for a client, this guy( a Nigerian) is very young, below 40years, he was constructing 40.2 billion naira residential building, 4bedroom duplex, if you see him, you will feel like sending him on errands. People get money for Nigeria that you will never hear their names.
These people are rich in dollars. When converted to Naira it is trillions of naira.

Especially the refinery. The rest of the capital finance is from equity provided by other stakeholders. However, Dangote still owns the majority of the shares in these projects.
The guy does not have accurate networth of most of them. For instance Forbes recently put Mike Adenuga'S networth to $9. Something billion and Aliko Dangote $19 billion. He needs to go update himself
