There is no natural disaster in Nigeria bro. The only natural disaster we have is our corrupt politicians
Stop sounding kike a brmriken record. There are corrupt politicians everywhere. In tge US, UK e.t.c perpetuating corruption in different form and shape. From 1999 to date, Nigeria has clearly made great progress but there is always room for improvement
Corrupt politicians is a human disaster not natural disaster 👍🏽
@@user-jt6sc3km5i you are right but do we have any natural disaster in that country? The answer is no and that's why I linked their disaster to natural disaster
@@user-jt6sc3km5i if you are a Nigerian parables must not be explained to you
😂😂😂😂😂
Yes we have natural disasters in Nigeria. They're called "corrupt politicians" 😂😂
No property taxes. When you own, it is yours. No loans, no bank problems.
That is incredible!!
There is capital gains tax for profits made from selling a house.
Nigeria are the smartest people on the planet
Abuja is the Capital of Nigeria. Lagos used to be the Capital. No, we have not witnessed any natural disasters in WEST Africa except for floods which is in Lagos and some outside Lagos. Now in Nigeria, we have the Northern part of Nigeria, which is Abuja, Kano, Kaduna etc; then the West, which is Lagos, Ibadan etc, in the East we have Enugu, Owerri etc and in the South of Nigeria, we have Port Harcourt, Akwa Ibom etc… these are the cities in those regions or areas but not the States. So, when you do the map, you were seeing Abuja outside Nigeria but, it is Inside Nigeria. You will understand it better when you take a trip. Hope this helps!
Abuja is knowingly pinpointed as a central location!
In relation to Lagos, Abuja is in the north, in relation to Kano, Abuja is in the South!
I think it's best referred to as the Middle Belt!👍🏾
👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
You just divided Nigeria into four cardinals but in real sense it has 6 geopolitical zones: South south, South west, South east, North central, North west and North east.
Abuja is in north central, kano and Kaduna are north west. Lagos and Ibadan are south west, Port Harcourt and Akwa Ibom are south south, Owerri and Enugu are south east.

Abuja isn't north... It's middle belt
Its not the president house the owner of the white house is a Nigerian oil mogul from northern part of Nigeria ..his name is Abubakar Aliyu . The Chairman of AA oil.
It's his office not a house
Thanks guys ❤this is the Africa CNN and BBC can not show us 😢Africa is blessed 😇
We only have floods in some parts of Nigeria! Nothing like earthquakes or hurricanes in Nigeria!
She's smart about the water front. The soil in Abuja is naturally red in colour, because of the high content of iron in the soil. So water bodies take the colour of the soil.
No, I think it was the building of the apartments (the dig8ng of the foundations that unsettled the soil. I've been to Jabi Lake from many times even before those apartments were built.
Nice reaction.
No massive natural disaster in Nigeria, only flood in specific areas during the rainy season.
Anywhere you visit in Africa, Nigerians have the biggest properties in that country, no cap!
It is an early development and it’s a man-made pond not lake. Lots of clay in Abuja and most water/rivers are muddy.
Nigeria is very beautiful and there are still other beautiful cities with beautiful houses like Portharcourt, Calabar, Uyo, Jos, Enugu , and the rest. But you will deffinately be wowed to see bigger mantions in villages or hometowns in the Eastern part of the country😊.
That is because the Igbo people of Nigeria are typically from that region and they prioritise building mansions in their hometowns. This is very beautiful because you get to experience luxury at the countryside or billage, and not just while you are in the city❤
That is actually a house in Abuja Nigeria ..i live in Abuja Nigeria so i know
Flooding is one the most common natural disasters. And the hurricanes actually starts 2 miles off the west coast of Africa. Hope this gives you an insight?
Nothing like hurricanes, earthquakes in Nigeria at all.
I appreciate both of you for your observations, personal growth in your knowledge and understanding of what Nigeria is and indeed for how Nigeria needs to develop for the future of the nation. I must add however that there are many more cities towns and villages with greater potential and standing. Ibadan, Enugu, Jos Calabar, I could mention 100 more where your own personal tastes can be achieved. I do also say cautionarily that Nigeria is still extremely tough for most! Great reactions, I thank you.
Nigeria does not experience any natural disaster. People talking about flooding here are exaggerating things as flooding is occasional in just few places and not all that serious. The water flows away in matter of a few hours as soon as it stopped raining.
Don't say that. Every year when the Cameroonians release their dam, villages along the Benue river in Taraba state lose most of their crops too flood. That is VERY serious
@@ElijahSir-gawi Those were houses built on flood plains. Houses are not supposed to be there. Houses were not built there originally. Where these places Lagos, the houses will be demolished.
When there’s a dollar sign , it’s the USD. And it’s not mortgage. All are built from scratch or outright payments.
18:38 The president's house can not be in such a place. The president's house is in Aso Villa which is 12.6 km away from Katampe.
"one big happy community is diabolic " 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
12:49 the water only gets like that during the rainy season, it's a dam. when it isn't the rainy season, its always clear.
The Only problem is our leaders

@@mazijoseph8177 You make reasonable points of sorts i must agree.
But then I think a national (re)orientation is in order first!.
At least to get rid of the Nigerian Locust mentality!
Every Nigerian screams about our bad leaders, nobody talks about the terrible followership!
The locusts mentality to destroy everything in its wake , needs to be remedied as a matter of course!
There is no bridge or flyover in Lagos in particular where the hand railings are still in place!!
People strip these aluminium railings which are meant to provide safety, off to sell or use for themselves!
Even the newly refurbished Third mainland bridge was not spared!
The second Niger bridge spanning Asaba to Onitsha was opened to much aplomb after decades of it being built!!
This bridge was constructed and opened with what you mentioned...to create an economic environment for people to raise money!!
But within months of it being opened, people were vandalising the edifice, the metal components were stripped and stolen leaving the bridge dangerous to use!!
Any protests in Nigeria ends with the serious damage and ruination of toll gates , bus shelters and even private business properties!
In the Niger Delta, the worst possible humanitarian crisis is being caused on a monthly basis!
Pipelines and oil flow stations in the region are being destroyed by human leeches!!
They smash open these pipelines, to tap the crude, but are unable( possibly unwilling) to cork it back, so the crude seeps into the rivers, creating an enormous environmental degradation!
In the southeast, misguided and misled youths are holding the citizens to ransom on a weekly basis by their illegally imposed "sit-at-home" campaign!!
The most industrious hub in the entire Nigeria, cannot trade or do business without a threat to their lives and livelihood!!
Similar decadence is in the north, where bandits and kidnappers have blighted the region and as such if affects farming and food crisis!!
So "we the people" have not yet learned about civic responsibility and full national patriotism!!
So you see, the leaders can only be as effective as the followership allows them to be!!
In life , if you plant the wind, you will reap the Whirlwind!!!
👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
Flood is our most common natural development and occasionally, tornado touchdowns. This reason for this, for example, hurricanes that hits the United States are formed from the hot Sahara desert air currents which travel over the Atlantic Ocean and eventually meet the cold air currents coming from Canada.
Niger has never witnessed a single tornado. You do not know what a tornado is.
What we experienced occasionally are sandstorms or a very small whirlwind.
Sorry , speed limits don’t matter here. The police don’t bother about your fast cars. We don’t have tickets either.
I swear.. We have freedom here in Nigeria.. We love it 😅😊
Lawless country
I'm impressed by your knowledge in the regional geography of the area.
Great watch
By the way, I don't know if people have mentioned but the big white house isn't the president's
The president lives at the "Aso Villa" in an area we call "Aso Rock" and a city we call "Asokoro"
Nigeria don't really have natural disasters,it's flooding that we experienced here mostly
Basically almost every where in Africa most homes are built with concrete because African continent has a lot of natural stones that are readily available and cheap too.
The water needs to be treated 😂😂
The kind of soil in that area caused the colouring.
That white building is a house, its called "Queen Lilian".
A man built it for his wife. I asked the security guards who are stationed there and asked if it was actually a house too.
YOU JUST WON A SUBSCRIBER! Love from Lagos!
she literally called the $15mln house a museum!!!! Got me rollin' on the floor 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No natural disasters in Nigeria...mild flooding once in a while in some areas but not in Abuja...
Lagos is the largest city, Kano in Kano State is the second largest city, Port Harcourt is the third largest city, Kaduna is the fourth largest, Abuja is the fifth largest city in Nigeria.
99% of all homes and other built up property in Nigeria, is paid-up purchased, the other 1% are mortgaged. Mortgages are not really a thing here.
There are no hurricanes or tornados or typhoond or earthquakes or volcanic eruptions in Nigeria. The comments talking about flooding have no idea what real flooding (a la Louisania when levees fail) looks like.
When you see the $ sign in these videos, it refers to US dollars. The Nigerian currency is called the Naira and uses the ₦ symbol.
Nigeria doesn't enforce speed limits, but there are minimum speed limits on highways (100km/hr) and maximum speed limits on on/off ramps(50km/hr) and within urban streets (30km/hr) but as a matter of principle, we don't observe the speed limits and the Police don't enforce them.
Any other questions you have about Nigeria, let me know and I will try to give you the answers.
PS: That "White House" y'all kept talking about? It's owned by an oil fortune billionaire, I drive past it literally everyother day. And he is not even close to being the wealthiest person in that particular suburb of Abuja

Nigerian homes are MOSTLY DONE WITH CONCRETE AND CEMENT.
We have a sizeable amount of limestone in Nigeria so we can get iur iwn CEMENT.
The most of natural disaster we have in Nigeria is MOSTLY floods.
Some few states have erosion problems though. Very few states.
In the northern part of Nigeria, we have desertification.
Apart from that. Nigeria ix good.
The dollar sign is USUALLY USD.
And guess what causes the erosions? Flood. And why do you have flood problems? Infrastructure negligence and lack of planning. Africa is far too blessed which is why your governments are lazy and corrupt.
8:57 Nigerians have never been known to build houses with wood but clay or concrete breaks. About disasters, we have erosions, flooding, sand storms and some man made disasters

ABUJA is the capital of Nigeria and it is in the North-Central region of Nigeria. That is the seat of government like Washington DC in America.
Luckily, Nigeria doesn't really have issues with natural disasters except floods and landslides.
Also, the massive white house in this video ain't the President's crib like you think 😂😂
The Presidential Villa is called ASO ROCK, just like the White House in America. There should be videos on UA-cam about ASO ROCK or ASO VILLA as it is called.
Thanks to you guys for showing the world how beautiful Nigeria and Africa is as opposed to the negative image the Western Media portrays about us like starving people who live in the bush/forest and probably roaming about naked or with leaves or animal skin covering the body 😂😂🤦🏽♂️... Nigeria 🇳🇬 must have those kind of houses in the whole country bcz they are rich in petrol
Our fresh waters looks that color during the rainy season, because of flood.

That's not the president's house, but there a couple of house just like that "white house" here in Abuja. The president's house in Nigeria is call Aso Villa, and it's a lot more nicer on the inside than on the outside.
There are barely any police stops in Abuja, but if you get in a police chase, I can assure you that you will not and cannot escape. After all, the president stays here and the city is designed to prevent things like this.
Payment systems in Nigeria in Nigeria now is very good. Local bank transfers settle in less than a minute, cross-border or international transfers settle in range of 1 minute to as much as 3 days (US payments).
Zoning of apartments is not lenient, your house will get demolished if not approved. No fix this or fix that, they'll tear it down.
That $15m dollar house does have all those things you mentioned, I've been there. Steven probably just got bad footage of it or lost some footage during editing. That's the backyard.
ABUJA has a bustling night life. Nigerians, we do know how to party.
Not like that we only have government disaster.
You should check Awka in Anambra State
Fine girl, you are absolutely correct about the water. I want to add that the Jabi lake is a man made lake. Just as you checked the map and spotted Abuja in a landlocked area, I curiously googled the history of Jabi lake.

There are families that have have more than 6 kids and it is very normal lol so they need space and big homes, and leaving with extended family is a norm here.
Nigeria does not have any natural disasters and has never had any natural disasters
We have 36 cities as state capitals and Abuja as the Federal capital territory. Each state has a minimum of 2 or 3 mini cities or towns. Nigeria is divided into two regions South and North. Southern and Northern regions are further divided into geopolitical zones making a total of six zones. Lagos is in Southern Nigeria while Abuja is Northern Nigeria. Lagos is located in South West Nigeria while Abuja is located in North Central Nigeria. So being Lagos and Abuja means that the person has only been to only two sub regions out of six and every other sub region have it's own peculiarities. Different cultures, languages, foods and others. The life style of Lagos for example is different from that of Lagos or Port Harcourt vise versa.

BRo, there are no natural disasters to speak of in Nigeria or West Africa for that matter. The prices are definitely US dollars. That said, the prices are like that because you are actually paying for the house in cash. No loan, hence there is not interest rate to inflate the price. If you see a Nigerian with his house, he built it with his cash. Same with cars.
