Research shows lower levels of ozone can also cause harm. The official national limit on ozone, also called the National Ambient Air Quality Standard, was last strengthened by EPA in 2015. However, newer research shows that ozone can cause serious harm even at much lower levels.25.10.2023 г.

I disagree. The Airdog x3 which I bought in August this year produces an unpleasant chemical smell when it is turned on. This smell continues to be produced even when the filters are cleaned. I am very disappointed!

For my size home (modest 2400 sf approx) I'd need about 3 to 5 units. A total non starter for me. I'll stick with my whole house electrostatic air filter on my furnace. It has worked like a charm for several years now. I've read a lot of very negative reviews about these. Your review seems to be a rare exception. Sorry, just being honest

Thanks for the post and this smaller one is designed for specific areas in your home where you spend a lot of time (bedroom, basement, garage). They do produce a larger X5 unit that covers more area but if you're looking for one to cover your entire home, that has to be done at the heating/cooling source like you're doing. This product uses similar tech as your current system and can actually remove even smaller particles than most electrostatic systems for the home. I've had really good luck with this one and sleep better (less snoring) with one in the bedroom. I also notice less irritation in the basement as well when we're spending time down there. If it makes ozone I thought ozone was a pollutant.

It only uses it during the cleaning process and the last (top) grid removes it before the air is sent back into the room.
