That is SUCH a cute style and color on you. I just bought my third S&S Average/Large ever, in SS Rusty Auburn, and I love her. I’m with you; I prefer to stay away from heat-resistant synthetic fiber wigs, and that seems to make my choices more limited as time goes on (I have a RW Crowd Pleaser, which was more of an impulse buy, and that wig has HF fiber.). I’m looking to move on from years of wearing JR Julianne as my default style. They’ve gotten too expensive and there seems to be quality issues with Jon Renau wigs. Soft and Subtle will likely be my default wig.
I honestly feel like there are getting to be quality control issues with so many manufacturers these days. It seems like lately I’m more surprised when I open a box and a new wig is in great shape, then when I open a box and a new wig has flaws. It’s been sooooo darn frustrating lately! I feel you!!!! 😊
Firstly I'd love to see Leo in your videos more I'm a real dog lover! I understand both Gabor and Raquel Welch are made by HairUwear so there will be dupe colours and styles. You really look lovely in most wigs 👍
Leo says he’s all in! Lol. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, all of whom have to be close to their mama all the time! So when I try to film, someone is always crying or meowing at the door. Today I just gave up. 😂
I've been watching many videos on this color, and you, along with other reviewers, have said there is no gold/ golden tones in this color. But I definitely see gold. I'm hoping it's just the lighting or that my monitor is not showing the color correctly, because a cool, ashy, color is what I'm looking for. Golden shades don't work for my skintone, unfortunately. This has been described as almost having a gray cast, although there is no gray. I'm confused because this color looks different every time I see it in a review.
I hear you! It is so very hard to discern color from a video. What I can tell you is that I really do not like golden tones AT ALL, and this particular wig in Golden Pecan was very ashy. I think the most accurate color representation is in the footage where it is on the dining room table; that is indirect daylight that is pretty evenly dispersed from two directions. I must tell you that this is the only piece I own in this color, however, so I can’t speak to consistency among Gabor styles or even consistency among color application on the same style. Sorry I can’t be of more help on this one! 😞
Simmer is closer to the runner in both shots. But I see where you could be confused- I rotated the heads to face the other direction to catch the light a little better. I had to go back and double check my original footage! Yikes. Next time I will put a better graphic label. Thanks for the catch! 😊
