Pritzker gives ‘Office'-themed graduation speech at Northwestern, with Steve Carell present

- Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker delivered a rather unique commencement address to the Northwestern University Class of 2023 on Monday, sharing wisdom from the hit television show "The Office" to help send graduates "forward on the right path in life."
Until today I really know nothing about this man, now I want him to run for President. One of the best speeches I've heard.

He's Fair to everybody. I cry with a happy heart how much he Cares. I don't know a Governor under my watch. is truly honest and genuine. POTUS 2028. He cares. He doesn't take Salary. he doubled his staff salary out of his wallet. I Love Governor JB Pritzker. 💪🏽✌🏽😘
He's an amazing governor! I've lived in IL my entire life and he's my favorite. As much as I want to keep him for IL, he's definitely the kind of leader we need at the national level.
Based on thos speech he seems like a stand-up guy! But many of the best people reject running for President...they do not want all the beating they and their family will endure. They don't want to deal with the cutthroat hostile congress critters who are there for their own benefit and won't hesitate to throw everyone else under the bus...including their constituents. That being said, I he does seem like just the kind of guy we need...someone who would put the country's best interests over his own.
And whether he'd have the name recognition and Party support is another question. But who knows!!.Obama went from a relative unknown (giving a speech at the Democratic conventionpresidentn) to President in an astonishingly short amount of time! Anything can happen!
Pritzker locked down Illinois and his family went to the open state of Florida.
Illinois is one of the most corrupt states in America according to its own University of Illinois.
Democrat politicians go to prison for fraud and bribery and extortion every 6 months, and that includes governors!
This man has his heart and brains so well balanced. One of the finest and most pragmatic speeches in recent times.❤

Hi, I live in Australia and first read this in the Guardian news today. I have never heard of Pritzker or the university before but I have to say even though i live a world away I can relate to what he spoke about and as a family man having worked and looking back on my past 40 plus years he is amazingly spot on. It made me think and really realize that life throws very similar curve balls to each and every one of us throughout our lives.. We should all realize we have more in common with each other than we think. The best part I liked was being kind. Great speech by a top bloke. Cheers.
You may wanna have a talk with the rest of your platypus loving countrymen about being friendly. A surprising number were saying some pretty unfriendly things towards the Jewish people the other day. @@charleshetrick3152 It sounds very threatening to say that you're glad you have guns and that they don't. It certainly doesn't reflect the wisdom in this speech, particularly the point that the kindest person in the room is often the smartest.

Let's consider all the scripted speeches in the world. Only a few are good. If you liked a scripted speech, it was well scripted for you. If a lot of us like a scripted speech, it was well scripted for a lot of us. All other speeches didn't make it. They didn't have the right people working on them or the right person setting direction for them.

You should read up on this man's accomplishments before judging him as less than he shows himself to be. Have you heard of the Pritzker School of Medicine? It's among the leading Medical Universities in the world at the University of Chicago. My father dedicated his lifetime to being a Professor of Medicine at that school, sacrificing the mega $$ he could have gotten from being a private practitioner to serve the public with breakthrough medical achievements.

He's saying that the ability to be kind requires the intelligence to think of other people and temper their selfishness and dumb hatred. Loved this! JB Pritzker is such a kind & caring man; so happy he is our Governor. He's been great for Illinois - 7 credit rating upgrades in 2 years, protects women's reproductive freedoms, signs gun safety legislation. No wonder he was re-elected 55%-42%.
