    A great watch ..🚂

I, myself, like the N scale. Really a cool layout as well as the 0 and 00 scales.

Toy man has been explaining all the different gauges, but I’m still confused! Love this show of so many different model railroads. Was particularly impressed to see the moving dump truck in one segment. Very clever!🚂🚂🚂

Yes, I've been following the series. The subject seems never-ending! 😂
That truck is great, isn't it?
      Thanks for commenting 👍

Great video of great lay outs. Typically don’t care for Europeans locos and rolling stock but the scenery any every thing is so good. The one guy even turned the truck around for the return trip to get the next load of coal. Hey aren’t you guys into that “global warming nonsense?” Isn’t coal far worse than oil? Just asking for understanding.

      @@kenshores9900 Haha! OO, FOO, EM Standard, P4, OO9,..... 😱
When you say "European" I think of continental things, which I'm not so keen on myself. British seem to be out on their own, (or perhaps some similar in India and Austrailia and such, but there are reasons for that).
I do love British trains, but I've always wanted to model American. Weird, eh?
And to global worming: steam power is a luxury these days, and that's ok I say 😉👍
      Thanks Ken! Cheers.

@@ThatBIGTRAINGuy Glad you took my humor as intended. Could not resist the chance to jab. I am a bit partial to British trains (yes separate from European). Like how you have immersed yourself into DRG trains. Atypical of anything in the UK. Even unique to the US. Those guys were soooo cheap they designed the spikes to be reused.
Right now I am perplexed. Do I build model rockets, do I build model canons, do I work on a knife project, or do I work on my trains. Oh well nap time.
Would have liked to have seen more of the table details for the modules at the train show.
Again such a great packed video.
      Rail on!

I attended the Exeter Garden Railway Show in October, a good day out. Seeing the smaller scale models and the amazing detail was a great treat, thanks!

I went to that one a few years ago. I wanted to attend the most recent one but had something else on unfortunately.
It is great to see such great work.
      Thanks!

Hello Simon, a fantastic model railway show. The western layout is very nice and the Gauge G Reichsbahn diesel locomotive of the Russian design by PIKO is interesting. But the English layouts in the different gauges were also very nice. Such model railways are very rare in Germany. Thanks for showing, I enjoyed the video. Greetings Wolfgang

Yes, I was very pleased to see American and some G Scale. All the layouts were very impressive.
      Many thanks Wolfgang!

Great detail on all these layouts. Have you thought about doing an N scale? Less space needed.

      They're fantastic aren't they?
I have thought about it, yes. In fact I half built a 3x4 foot portable layout when I was a teenager: A running loop with a lake-side depot and small pier on one side, then a branch climbing around to some sidings at a higher level in the centre. I laid the track, built the pier and a couple of bridges (which looked great!) but that's about as far as I got. The only loco I had for it was Jupiter, which I'd purchased at the Golden Spike site! This layout is stored in my parent's garage, covered in bed sheets.
More recently, I do fancy a Rio Grande layout based in the 80s 🤔

Ooooooo I really like the truck driving down the road in End of the Line. Do you know if it is RC or one of those that follows a buried wire in the road?

    • @ThatBIGTRAINGuy
      @ThatBIGTRAINGuy  Рік тому +1

Cool, isn't it? They had a whole system going where the little pieces of coal were being passed around. I believe it was radio controlled as it was reverse parking and such to pick up the coal, plus one of the two operators had his hands buried in his lap the whole time so... I... guess... that's what he was doing. 🤔😂
