I had to do it 😂. Well, I found that the Airwolf Theme was open to free use, before I went. But now it's changed. So, the copyright owner will get the 50p or whatever this video generates, not me 😔
So incredibly cool! I'm so happy that someone from the UK/Europe visited [basically anywhere] west of the Mississippi. That entire area is so starkly beautiful, it's almost heartbreakingly beautiful!
Aww thank you. This pleases me. You're right, the area is so beautiful with such varied shape, colour and character. I do feel very much "at home" around here, especially around the San Juan mountains in Colorado. But, as I say in the video that Colorado is known as "Colorful Colorado", but Utah is also so colorful. Thank you for commenting! Simon

Thank you George. Yeah, I often think about how they built the roads. "That peak there. Should we go around to the other side?" - Two days of hiking - "Nope. Let's try another way"
I was sure you were going to take off at the beggining.Wow so much epic scenery. For what its worth I thought your impersonation of Rose on the bow of the Titanic was very convincing🤣 Thanks again Simon🤘
Excellent as ever. Completely missed the Colorado National Monument when we were there as it looked great. However, it also looked a lot like the the views from Mesa Verde so we saw something very similar. Liked the accompanying music all very atmospheric. Impressed with your driving playlist , ZZ Top and Yngwie Malmsteen.
Oh yes, I had a lot of Vangelis on this stretch actually, and then Vixen, Yngwie, W.A.S.P. and ZZ Top. - Yeah, I was at the end of the alphabet. 🤣 The music I put over the National Monument was "Love Theme" from Airwolf! I've done Mesa Verde twice and it is amazing. There is a lot more history with Mesa Verde with the Natives, which is nice, and you do reach some heights with amazing views too. Colorado National Monument is pure natural history. I think it's higher and more precarious, and I like that wherever you are it looks over Grand Junction in it's urban flatness, - a nice contrast. Thank you Mate! 👍
@@ThatBIGTRAINGuy If you ever get the chance the Silverton runs a winter photographers special where you are let off and the train will do a few run bys in various spots, a great way to spend the day with just you and the train... have a good day!

Oh that Salt Wash view was pretty awesome. I hadn't planned scenic stops along the way, so that was quite a "Wow!" Oh yes, when I was trying to pay in the visitor center the guy was asking if I was visiting any other parks within the week. No time, sadly. Oh well. Thank you CCS! 😁👍

The opener was awesome! 😂 When at Devil’s Canyon were you tempted to play some Crew: Shout at the Devil? “Dodging” that truck was at least easier than “Ford”-ing a river. The pay system at the monument needs a rethink methinks. Too bad beer doesn’t come up from springs in canyons like that. The scenery, with overhangs and such is similar to what they animated in the movie Cars.
I was in his canyon, but I didn't see him to shout at. I couldn't believe the pay system, I mean it seems to be all very trustworthy. Until the park staff guy turned up I was afraid to go into the park. But it was all kinda "Yeah, pay at some point,... whenever". Cheers Terry! Next one is well in the pipeline 😉
Oh I hope you stopped in Marysville for some pizza, one of the best places in utah! What's funny is you were down there about a week after I left. We were down there for a family reunion we do around the 4th of July of the year.

Brilliant! What would’ve happened if you hadn’t picked up an envelope to pay to visit the Colorado National Monument? Would the FBI have after you to the UK? Not that I’m encouraging anyone to not pay…
Ha! I'm not sure. I was thinking my car number plate was going to be scanned as would happen in the UK and Id be on record, but it seems to be totally trusted. The payment would have covered any national park for a week too! I never actually saw the money go from my account. 😂
