Can't fault Smartmoto, thanks to you reviewing their stuff I got myself some bits for my 701 and I'm pretty impressed, fast delivery, super simple to install and works great! :)
To put it on a handlebar, you could take the crude approach and use a P clip around the bar amd use the little nut on the switch to close the clip. Not sure how else to do it
@Twedymoto hi sir, did u experienced some shifting problems? i heard of some sort of false neutrals problems between 5 and 6 gear in particular, what are ur toughts on that situation? ty
This LC4 engine has suffered false neutrals for a lonnnng time! If you're positive with your shifting (be firm) then you'll never have an issue. There are kits available to reduce falses but unsure how good they are. Lots of info on the 701 Facebook groups and advrider. 👍
The thermostat is normally contact open, so save yourself some money (+$80) and just solder ANY switch ($10) parallel onto the wires!

Thanks dude. So easy to install. Took me a good 10 minutes to work out I was trying to plug one end in upside down though 🤣🙄
How did you mount the actual toggle switch to the handlebar? Ive ordered one for my gsxr 750 but cant figure it out hahahaha

if the switch is off, the fan turns on normally?
Correct. It operates as normal.

Sweet! Hopefully they will ship me one to Canada!
They should do pal! Or they might have a dealer in your region :)

@@Twedymoto ok ty. i saw u mounted the oberon clutch slave. does it solve definitively the friction probelm? does it last longer then the stock one?
Thanks Twedymoto again. Cheeky question here, do you know if the cast wheels from a KTM Duke 690 will fit our 701s?
Quite a lot have swapped the wheels from a Duke to the 701. I think you just need to use the standard 701 wheel spacers.
They need this for the 890 901
