There was a Captain Ds on the southwest side. After it closed it became one of those daiquiri places, then it was a tax loan place, then it was an abandoned building where i assume squatters were hanging about, and eventually it was tore down. My best memories of Long Johns and Captain Ds is when i was living up north. But most definitely the last few years of their operations quality steadily went downhill.
