- Professor Ghassan Abu-Sittah is a multi-award-winning Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, with a worldwide reputation as one of the world’s leading specialists in Craniofacial surgery (facial deformities), aesthetic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery and trauma related injuries.
He worked in Gaza during the first and second intifada, but also in 2008-2009, in 2012, in 2014, during the great march of return in 2018 and finally in October-November 2023.

As a UK and citizen of the world I want to know Exactly why the USA , Europe and other countries fail to accept what is happening and continue to help and protect Israel? Spot on! Thank you so much for this talk. The doctor Abu Sittah is so sharp in describing the structures that builds up around genocidal cultures. And he dedcribes so well what it means to be first, second and third generation refugees. I have seen plenty of Palestinians now in Gaza who have expressed infront of the camera that they will stay in Gaza and they will die in Gaza if so be it Gods will. From four year old girl to 70 year old man who lost most of theire loved ones. Whole blood lines wiped out the last 8 months. There is something very powerful in a people who refuse to be ethnically cleansed from theire land and theire right to exist there as a people. They are like the Fenix rising up out of the rubble of dust and ashes. New born out of the ancient. They really have so much to teach us others about that the life force and will is recreating itself. But they are not super humans. They do feel rightly so rage, dispare, trauma, fear, hunger, thirst, deep sorrow aswell. It is us outside of the Gaza fence who have to be strong who have to listen to them. Who have to never stop talking about the People of Palestine and who have to bring down our genocidal politicians and institutions. It is for the people of Palestine and it for us and for our children and grandchildren.
