That’s really something to deal with. As I do not condone Klassens behavior, people do make mistakes. There is not one person out there who can say they haven’t. He got punished and paid his dues. Somehow MVG needs to get past this because it ends up being poison to the soul.
Klaasen has send pictures of his genitals to van Gerwen's disabled 14 year old niece. Van Gerwen and Klaaseb were very close friends. So I wouldnt shake Klaasen's hand either, never ever again.

What most people don't seem to know (including the commentators on tv here) is that these two used to be sparring partners at a young age for years at a local cafe in a village in the Netherlands. And maybe at home too, that I don't know.
Right up to the point Jelle Klaasen became the youngest world champion aged 21, defeating van Barneveld in the final of the 2006 BDO World Championship and Michael also got pretty far in the finals.
Anyway, during those sparring years, they've rubbed off this high level of scoring and extremely high tempo of throwing on each other.
Somehow there's this tension between them these days.I don't know what it is. It's almost like some brother-stuff I guess.
Klaasen sent nude pics to a girl Van Gerwen knew, hasn't forgiven him since. That's why they don't shake hands.

Unlikely. There's a good reason why there's no handshake at the end of the match. Klaasen served a suspension for sending naked pictures to a fifteen year old girl. It's pretty much known that the girl was the sister of Van Gerwen's girlfriend.

Klaasen served his punishment, paid his fine, and tries to shake van Gerwens hand after every game and show MvG respect, but Michael won't have any of it.
