Absolument pas ! c'est un chant de Noël Catalan repris par Pau Casals. Ce chant est devenu par la suite un hymne à la liberté durant la guerre d'Espagne. Ce chant est toujours présent dans l'esprit des Catalan et des Espagnols....
@@philippemaury1689 vous avez certainement raison. Mais beaucoup de compositeurs ont utilisé un air populaire comme motif d'une oeuvre musicale. Mozart l'a beaucoup fait par exemple, sans qu'on lui refuse la paternité de l' oeuvre.

Perhaps it's just a matter of interpretation, but I prefer this without the frequent harshness, such as at 1:15 and 1:19.
( For comparison, Yo Yo Ma plays this beautiful piece with none of that harshness.)

I really dislike this arrangement and this performance. Turning something so simple and pure, poignant and quite perfect, into a vulgar, carnal, melodrama. Shame!
