Isn't it funny how, in he past few decades at least, the more our society has become sexually liberated and 'progressed', the more it has become strangely prudish and disconnected from nature and reality. Obviously this scene in this film is heightened and quite ridiculous, and while it may feel shallow and purely about sex, there is a deeper meaning there, a portrayal of truthful, raw, human passion nd connection. Its honest. I have a feeling a scene like this, if it was made today, would cause outrage, because it shows a straight western man being strong and taking charge of two women, purely to have sex with them. Its the same reason that the song 'baby its cold outside' caused a 'progressive' backlash. Today, people are so emotionally stunted, suspicious, and unable to form meaningful human connections because of causes like feminism, so sexually warped by fetish culture, bdsm and pron, that they see a scene like this one, or hear a song like 'baby its cold outside' and they think the appropriate respons is to feel outraged.
This scene reminds me of a priceless experience with a pretty girl I met many years ago in San Francisco, California. I walked up to this pretty girl (she was blonde) introduced myself; told her I would be in San Francisco for 3 weeks; would like to take a beautiful girl like her to dinner; I lived 3,000 miles from San Francisco; and the worst thing that would happen would be that we would have a good time. Two nights later we went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Ghardelli Square; we were serenaded at our table by 3 musicians who were wearing sombreros: later went to Roland's bar and listened to 4 musicians playing and singing love ballads. We did this twice and every time I think of this a smile comes to my face.

If you are not European you cannot understand this. Americans for sure will understand it wrong. You must be authentic , genuine and with open heart and able to connect on a deep and meaningful way, to share and appreciate aesthetic and beauty in all its forms. You can't experience this if you don't have the depth of heart and soul. It is not possible if your lens are limited to the physical only. It is beyond that. And no , it does not mean it always need to end up with physical contact meaning sex.

People saying this won't work. Does it not matter the guy is a well known artist and has a private plane and is a qualified pilot. You would still say no?
When I watched it, in my early 20's while I was at university, there was such an artistic romanticism about it ... But it gave me cognitive dissonance to my core, and I never understood it. Now, as an adult, I watch this scene and I get how unbelievably sleazy it is. Scarlett J plays that crazy hot blonde friend we all had, who has no boundaries, drank/did drugs and responds to any male attention in desperation. And Woody Allen, who abused and then got in a relationship with his adopted stepdaughter, really went all the way to normalise sleazy. Thank God for my intuition that rejected the sordidness of normalising sleazy. 👐🏾

As crazy as that sounds I would have said “let me finish my meal because I’ll need lots of energy”. Yes life is short and I did many crazy things like that in my youth. Thankfully I was never harmed or contracted any desease. Awww to have youth and a tight body again!
Even stone will get turned on by Javier.
I love this movie especially scarlett and javier chemistry plus penelope madness enjoyable to watchn i loved the storyline something I would do when I was younger spontaneity thatsclife😀😀😀
I would die if this man spoke to me
To the young men…..this is what confidence looks like.
I see these women speaking, but all I can hear is Woody Allen's words in Woody Allen's voice.
Shit. Just realized I am a 'factory made zombie'.
One time serial killer, always a serial killer
Why even bring up serial killers.....he wasn't one!!!
@@Selkie7he was in no country for old men haha
Love the premise. Horrific dialogue. Reminding me why I haven't watched a Woody Allen film in fifty years.
au contraire! Woody Allen dialogue is fantastic
Is the brunette paying homage to Woody Allen with all of her stuttering and hedging? It almost sounds like an impression
What color are your eyes? This is a gold opening line.
MODEEEEEEE ONEEEEEEEE!
RIP ARC

Woody Allen's films are simply to depict a character talking to another so that the latter gets confused but persuaded eventually.
You can't have a name "Juan Antonio" and not be a playah!
What’s name of movie
Movie name: Threesome in Oviedo
@deksterification I'm a big ScarJo fan, but its Rebecca Hall who really carries this scene.
Black Widow, Maya Hansen & Captain Salazar?
I know this is a movie but I love his approach. You want me? Present your best offer, and may the best suitor win ♥️
I am in the mood for some competition but what would be the prize? Both have to try their best. That´s the inevitable rule of love. Do you agree?
Whats the name of the movie
In another life, I would've been the Cristina character!
What is the movie name?
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
Funny thing is both girls were in Iron Man.
@@brianjohnson3063 So was Batman & Alfred, and Wolverine
If you are not European you cannot understand this. Americans for sure will understand it wrong. You must be authentic , genuine and with open heart and able to connect on a deep and meaningful way, to share and appreciate aesthetic and beauty in all its forms. You can't experience this if you don't have the depth of heart and soul. It is not possible if your lens are limited to the physical only. It is beyond that. And no , it does not mean it always need to end up with physical contact meaning sex.
Interessante!
so so so so true. I am so disgusted by american culture.
Each person has this depth of heart and soul. But sometimes we are afraid to show it - while the phyiscal longing seems to be urgent.

I'm not European, I can understand the scene and I can fully appreciate that you are an arrogant European who lives in a bubble of ignorance.
It’s even creepier & more disturbing when these 2 women never realized that guy is Anton Chigurh.
"let's flip a quarter."
Best scene in the movie.
This movie seems pretty good. I kinda wanna watch it.
My shoulder angels discussing 😂
What's the title of this movie?
I'll never have a romantic relationship. If some stranger asks what color are my eyes, I would say "that's not your business".
Who gives a fuck about fucking you then? You have the problem not the men.
ahahah I cannot believe you took it so seriously
So what color are your eyes since you brought it up
Brown-green
Your (stupid) reply is absolutely heartless.
Case closed.
Don't try that sh... at home 😆
@MrSmashman1981 So straight to the point.. I love it!
))))))this movie is actualy inspired from true life events.quite interesting how they could learn about that event and how they chose to twist the real facts.
Heads or Tails.
he should have said "i couldnt help but notice your friends eyes... lingering towards me with a passionate intent"
Pick up legend...classic Scorpio
ElevatedFrequency classsic Scorpio approach
Oviedo is quite far from Barcelona. Not a short flight at all.
Screen rant: barely an inconvenience
🤣
Somehow the description of this video manages to spell both girls' names incorrectly
Black Widow and Captain Salazar 😹
