Hi Justin, I initially watched this video a few months ago. I was very impressed with what you had to say. Today (06-11-20)I have one of those big horrible brake controllers removed, and a tow pro fitted to my Wrangler. Very impressed. Thank you.

Thank you for this pep talk. I feel confident now getting my trailer for the first time. I'm driving a 2024 Wilderness Outback with a 1250 lb trailer. I had the redarc put in and I'm going to try progressive mode on the highway. I will have a downhill grade coming back. I might have to switch it into manual for part of that.

Just a quick question, if the battery is disconnected for any reason does the unit need to relearn forward direction again ?
Hello, yes, the TowPro will require learning its position if the battery is disconnected. This will happen automatically with or without a trailer connected.

I am told that redarc is the best. If so there is PLENTY OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT! The tow pro display is too small. Notice "how cute is that little thing?" He holds up little nob. On that little nob is an even little er LED light that indicates which mode you are in. THE LIGHT IS MINISCULE. It is dangerous because it is far too small and v difficult to see. I really wonder how many accidents this super small display has caused.
Thanks for the feedback! The Tow-Pro remote control knob has been designed so it is unobtrusive and does not get in the way of knees or interrupt the factory look of the vehicle’s dash. The LED light also sits behind a clear ring that surrounds the knob, this means that it illuminates the entire knob and allows for easier visibility of the numbers that determine brake strength.
@@REDARCElectronics hi redarc. I do appreciate the considered response. I understand that redarc have improved on previous BCs by reducing the size. Gt job. I have been on the caravan owners site. They ALL defended yr product. One said perhaps the light hole needs to be widened. I have to wear distance and reading glasses. Due to a stigmatism i cannot wear bifocals so i cannot see the light when driving. B so much better to have a clearer display. All the best.
