I got mine in September of 2022 and it’s the best investment I’ve made
It's about to bee Christmas in September for me... have an InstantVap order in with you right now! Cheers!
Oh I am so tempted to purchase that vaporizer!!!
Merry Christmas 🎄
Great video and even better message.
Thanks for watching!
I used a brother label maker to put 3 labels on my InstaVapa: (1) "BATT > 15V", (2) "PV = 445F" (since that is the temp set point/target, (3) "CLEAN < 155F" (Lorob Bees video shows him waiting until the unit cools to about 155F before cleaning with water). Thanks for all you do and a Happy New year to you and yours!
Good thinking!
I like how you put it Greg… “simply complicated”
Well said! 10:24

Thanks for watching!
Not looking forward to the next 3 days here. Evaluating if I want to wrap some of the colonies.
Thanks for watching! Wrapping seems to be out of context for us here.
Merry Christmas!
Happy New Year!
What makes you decide whether 2 or 4 grams of OA? I’d assume 2 for single box or nucs…
How long does that fondant last each hive?
Here middle GA., we got a temp swing from 70s to 16f in 30 hours coming up so since I only have 10 hives, they're going into my Kart racing trailer with a small 1500w heater for 6 days of freezing lows than we'll be back to normal of 65f highs and 50f lows, got it at Lowes for$30, does 200 sq. feet and has a thermostat, I plan to hold em in darkness at around 45f. Seasons Greetings to you and yours, take care and I'd like a couple of those Black queens in the coming year.
Make sure you have some ventillation. Your bees need oxygen!
Thx, I know, I'll leave the side door slightly cracked and open the roof vent a little so they'll have some draw exchange, plus if our highs get up around 45 I'll open the back door.
Heckuva temp swing there! How did the trailer work out?
Trailer worked like a charm, we had 12f the first night, then it stayed below 32 next day & 19 that nite, the 3rd day was just 38 the 23f that night, day 4 was back close to normal so I moved all back to their hive stands then open fed them to gt back going. I lost maybe a cup of bees total from 8 hives I put in the trailer, my 2 double deeps were too heavy to move so they got wrapped with old quilts and a wind break. they're all doing fine now, bringing good amount of yellow pollen and some deep red as well. Thx for asking, I just a Ian Steffan for 3 days.
Hope y’all are staying warm up there in Ohio!!
You betcha! Thanks for watching!
Hope y'all are ok up there. Unfortunately, the InstantVap 18V is out of our price range. :(
Greg what is the price range per hive of the fondant? It would be interesting to see a Nosema spore count after both the Apiguard and Hive Alive?
Blessings
Hey Mike! Depends on how many they take. Case pricing puts each patty around $5.75. A small price if the bees get in a bind and burn thru their stores.
do whats best for your bees,...but be open to adapt for even better results ...this is not a how too..
Nailed it!
