Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

Anyway, the Dodge All face (green wind) can dodge Tarantula's Surekill ability. That and 10(?) pips Kill face (the one Sharpshot has, skull face) are the only two that can bypass Tarantula's Surekill ability. This is why Gandalf + Sharpshot combo or one Ninja/Fencer/Dancer are good. But then again, death isn't really a bad thing in Slice and Dice, unless everybody's dead
You can also give then can't die this and block the instant death

I know you're not typically a fan of endless modes, but Blursed is such a fun mode in this game.

Idk if this is still viable, but with copycat, you can use it with a double-use die in a unique way. Using a double use attack once with copy cat (the first of the 2 hits), then use another dice from someone else allows the second hit from the copy cat to copy the keyword from different dice you used. I probably explained it very badly 😅
So glad this is back.
I say go all naturale for a bit, and then if it seems like the series is gonna wrap up, hit us with some of the crazy unlocks

@@Retromation Then it's probably just my personal play style that fits better with the new stuff. Nonetheless, I think some sort of progression is nice to have
I think it would be fun to unlock all to show the new items and characters that weren't in 2.0.
IMO it's fun to see even the early game stuff that's different, and the different progression.

Omfg I cant say just how freaking happy i am right now. When the first series of this was ended i was really sad and i commented on every video i watched ''please play slice and dice'' and now it finaly happened. Thank yoy Reto for making everyday of my life better

Fun fact: the spider insta-kill *can* be dodged (or at least it used to be dodgeable...).
No bypass but play untill everything is unlocked. I would love this to be a LONG series

With how easy it is to mod in this game, it would be really cool if you were able to get a list of subscribers/rogue like UA-camrs and make different heros/enemies with their names and random traits

From 2.0 to 3.0 the save got reset or is new save from steam?

It seems like a little bit of both based on my direct android update. It was like in tutorial mode, and then I just forfeit the run and magically unlocked like 20 things...
I think ill get the game for myself, its so cheap for this amount of fun and content!

I think what bothers me about this game is the upgrade system. It doesn't feel like you are upgrading the character so much as swapping them out with a new one. None of the decisions you make regarding the character stay with them after leveling, even the equipment you had on them goes back to the bag as if to emphasize that the guy you started with no longer matters, this is a new guy now.
I don't know, I like that sense of building on previous progress that rpgs are supposed to convey, and this game almost seems like it's deliberately avoiding that. Not for me, but no judgment on folks who do find it fun.
I kinda get that. There are times when your guy is so amazing you will keep him even over what should normally be a direct upgrade. On the other hand, it's just more of the bite-sized RNG that is a quick 45 minute run, so it isn't like some dozens of hours of investment or anything...
