Ride along on a test flight of Historic Flight Foundation's MiG-29UB Fulcrum jet fighter! More information about this amazing project is available at www.historicflight.org
Great video. Thank you very much for having saved what we have lost. When I flew this aircraft during the period from 1989 to 1990. This is one of my favorite "sparks" (training-combat airplane in Russian).
Very interesting video. I like the thrust input before touch down for attitude. Can you imagine landing the Mig 29K navy variant on an aircraft carrier if the approach speed and handling is the same. Great machine.
100% correct. Mig 29 is an ally fighter, eg, commands to a Mig squadron would be to maintain air superiority, rapid response , cover fly heavies in a specified corridor of say 1000kms from some important city or airbase, protect tankers which are re fueling long range multi combat role fighters such as Sukhoi which will strike deep inside enemy territory. I am a combat chopper pilot! Big Phat Sitting Duck for both the guys above ! but heh ! i PWN tanks, bmps and anything thats on ground ! =D
Oh! I wrote broken English. The cybLe was actually cyber . That is the computer game . It allow 120 people or 120 planes conected by the internet in computers game.
Vultur what do you mean by aerodynamically stable? Technically all fighters are aerodynamically unstable that is what allows them to be so agile. Are you talking about stability as a weapons platform?
yes its big difference ..mig 29 is advanced light weight tactical frontline fighter. and sukhoi 27 is Perspective Frontline Fighter...basically the size of these fighters re different.
@VeveVikingo If calling the F-22 shitty makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside go ahead, but statisticly the F-22 would rip any existing mig to shreds. The Su-47 might pose a threat and I don't know about the T-50 yet.
No, I'm not, but apparently you are. See, there's a little word in there that's spelled "c-o-m-p-a-r-a-b-l-e," and it means two or more things that are relatively similar in nature. The Tu-160 came what, 30+ years after the B-52 was ready to drop bombs on Russia? It goes something like Mach 1.6 and the B-52 can probably handle about 0.95 maximum. Doesn't sound very "comparable" to me. If we're not going to be an idiot about what is really "comparable" to a B-52, it's the Tu-95 and M-4.
F-15, F-16, F/A-18, A-10: all airworthy and logging flight hours from 30+ years and as we speak. Sukhoi PAK-FA, Chengdu J-20: not yet in meaningful existence. And you might think that's where we could leave off with the "period. owned..." but... B-52, still flying after 60 years, still more capable than any comparable Eastern bloc aircraft. "period. owned..."
The sad part is Russian Knights is an active combat squadron.. lol. Still though, people just need to shut the hell up and stop arguing about who would beat who, we aren't at war, so it doesn't matter one way or the other. Besides, they're broke!
@Direwolf56 1) i call them "shitty" cuz i hate america and NATO 2) with a same amount of money, Russia can produce more MiGs, so i think that even the number is important...

God damn, what a beautiful plane.

I am a Mig 29 cyble pilot 10 Years ago. It was a good hardware. I manage to take down F15 with the MIG 29 in cyble game.

wow amazing awesome video, thanks
All pointless arguing aside I like the video alot and I would love to fly in one.
Awesome
@cbhooi330 can you please explain what exactly is cybLe ?
@HDaviator
the f22 hasnt seen any action yet so it isnt available to the party either.
yes its big difference ..mig 29 is advanced light weight tactical frontline fighter. and sukhoi 27 is Perspective Frontline Fighter...basically the size of these fighters re different.
that in Everett, WA?

is the difference between a mig and a sukhoi?
You are EXACTLY correct. USA and RUSSIA both make these planes to have a Blue Angels vs Russian Knights showdown in the future, not for war ! xD
@VeveVikingo yeah never mind they don't understand
А что Вы можете знать о МиГ-29 в полёте??

Why historical flight on MiG-29
actually the russians dont use anymore the ak47 they replaced it for the ak74m witch proved better
they are not grounded
Не всё понял что говорили, но видео понравилось.
Translate to Russian that the man about an MiG - 29 speaks
The sad part is Russian Knights is an active combat squadron.. lol. Still though, people just need to shut the hell up and stop arguing about who would beat who, we aren't at war, so it doesn't matter one way or the other. Besides, they're broke!
MiG 29 after 30+ years still fly ...f22 its gorunded as f35, period. owned...
Lol Top Gun hahaha that was a play
watch top gun, and get back to me
@VeveVikingo like I said, all pointless arguing aside
Thats says nothing except america improves instead of sitting on the same plane for 30 years and the f-22 isnt grounded
@BrainstormerXV O_o hahahahahahahahahah
@Direwolf56 1) i call them "shitty" cuz i hate america and NATO
2) with a same amount of money, Russia can produce more MiGs, so i think that even the number is important...
