It's like t9 and t10 no longer use strategies, lone of sight, hull down positions. It's turned into cold war era3 follow the heard and overwhelm with numbers smdh.
In WoT, the word "team" means:
"A randomly assigned group of 15 players, each one of whom couldn't care less how the 'team' fares, as long as each individual gets to prove how much of a self-centered dick he (or she) can possibly be."
Any other widely-known and commonly-accepted definition of the word "team" does not apply within the context of this game.

@badczech8485 . You are correct there's only team play for the initial following of the herds to outnumber then after half the enemy is killed in the first 2 mins it's every man for themselves. Mainly t9 and t10 have started following the cold war era3 trend 🤦🏾♂️
Vishaw from Decoy is certainly not in that category. I watch his streams, and he plays during normal hours with no manipulation. Dude is a straight up beast. Don't diminish his skill. Even in losing games he always manages to pull 4 k at the least.
He is better than 99% of players. He's a beast .

Not his fault it was 9pm central but had a game with him on my team with like 9 bots. Once again not his fault that should be prime time gaming hour for most of the u.s. he did do 6.7k I did 5k got ammo hit twice by damn bots or I could of done so much more.

This is basically how I 3 marked my tiger 1 just i found myself pushing up to the front line in top tear matches and playing somewhat passive in bottom tear firing mostly premium ammunition being unpredictable and being aware of my surroundings on the map and not camping in the same positions too long I’ve noticed that the biggest mistakes are when a team won’t push at the right time or push too hard early on in battle situations like that seem to lead to confusion and often failure
Free XP to the top gun (or the preferred gun) for tech tree tanks
Do the best you can every game and don't worry about the occasional bad game. Absurdly good/bad games only move your percentage a little (~2-3 percent tops).
After the first mark, the harder you "try" the more frustrating it becomes. Just play well and it will come organically.
No one else cares about your marks

Been stuck at 91.35% on leopard2 goes up & down. highest had was 93%
Consistently exceeding the current mark requirement is key in going from 85% and above. And if you're doing that then typically a byproduct is usually a +60% win ratio.
Thanks a lot for this great summary on how to get marks of excellence. I would have some questions:
1. Is there anyhting special happening when you reach the 4th mark of excellence? I remember that I read somewhere that as soon as you have 4 MoE you can earn gold per game besides the normal silver income. Can you confirm if this is true (as most WoT players I dont have any tank with 4 MoE).
2. What counts to the average damage besides the direct damage I deal myself. Again remembering (might be from WoT PC) that either assited damage OR track assisted damage does count on top to the damage you did directly. Never both assists only the highest of these two assist variants. Do you know if this is true also for WoT console?
3. As you mentioned that WoT apparently caluclates the average damage of the last 100 games you played in a specific tank, does this mean you need to have at least 100 games before you will be awarded a 3rd or even a 4th MoE?
You don't have to have 100 games to 3 mark. If you only have 50 games in a tank then you would of needed to have done twice as well in those games to get the same % as you would over 100 games.
I have seen 3 marked tanks with only 60 to 80 games on them.
I have Jagpanter Tier 7 4 mark excellence :)
A steady diet of damage and assisted damage moves the percentage up quicker.
Players From ONE clan and Decoy know very well how to do it LOL play at 3 o'clock at night against bots and after a few months the achieve they're goals. bunch of loosers

Once you reach above 65% you will see it after each game. It will come up in the medals section of the battle results However if you fall below 65% it will only be viewable in profile tab as it was before reaching 65%

bro i didn't even know that the fourth mark existed lmao, i play wot since i was 7 yo, i'm 19 lol ( btw i switched to wot console 5 years ago and i played not that much, but since the start of the year i started getting really coompetitive about the game so yeah that means why i didn't know lol )
Trying to 2 mark my Shitbarn.
The game itself keeps stopping me by not registering direct hits, and bouncing off the ass of paper armour light tanks, and flying outside the reticle.
I've never been so pissed at the game before. I know when it's me screwing up my shots or the game RNGing me to loss of % on my mark.
Debating quitting the game altogether im sick of getting robbed almost every God Damned battle.
I’ve gotten used to it after 9 years. I actually quit for a couple of years. The game is what it is, I really quit taking it serious years ago, ridiculous rng was the main reason. Play for fun or play out of habit, it is getting less and less of a go to game for me. Lots of win envy within the community imo, and that’s how WOTC with the help of some cc’s continue to sell overpriced pixel tanks, but really who cares. Life is short, enjoy the ride, if the game sucks too much money and energy from you quit and move on, it’s really not worth the time.

65% damage standing is the requirement for one mark, 76% is what I have on the tank
I disagree with lower tiers consist of lower skilled players. Tier 8,9 and 10 are sh!t show at times. I don’t have valid data to back that up - but just my general overall impression from playing - which isn’t scientific by any means. I find the I can be consistent at any tier but basically play what I am in the mood to play. Marks, WN8 is pointless to me - playing to have fun and have a laugh is the primary goal.

I fully understand why stats are such a big deal for some, and I certainly don't begrudge anyone who cares about such things. MoEs are a part of the game, and are there for those who wish to pursue them. No problem.
But, for me, WOTC is a game, a pastime, a diversion from reality, and nothing more. I play it for fun, and it is fun most of the time. It can also be disappointing, frustrating, and just a bit maddening at times.
I still play everyday.
I just don't take it seriously.

wot marks are bad, the marks don't fit with certain tanks, so I definitely wouldn't follow that site
I've never tried for marks but i have a few tanks with 1 or 2 marks of shame on them, even have a 3 marks on one, and this video sums up why i hate marks being in the game so here comes the rant.
Tiitan, in your video about crew skills you say armour angling is a bad skill and not to use as it ruins other peoples games when they are trying to get damage. But then you do a video that says dump on your team to achieve your own selfish goals. So i guess your gonna understand where i'm coming from with this.
Spamming prem to get marks can ruin the game for anyone in a tank that uses any kind of armour or speed to survive. How is that ok when a skill that reduces damage taken by 5% is bad?
Marks should be achieved by basic good play, but anyone who plays there favourite tank consistintly well for thousands of games in a way that is about the team, the win, will never get 4 marks or maybe not even 2 or 3 as some people are upping the stats needed by maxing out the tank to a point it consistantly loses silver in order to get marks. This game is balanced by silver, by running at a loss for 100+ games your glitching the marks and i believe that makes them worthless, or as QB would say marks of shame. But really only the player knows how he got them and its a shame that people who got them playing a team game won't get the respect they deserve.
Question. I have "show marks" turned off on PC. Is there a way to turn them off on XB? Thanks if anyone can help.
This last bit is just a FYI for anyone with marks. If i see you on the red team i'm killing you first. Not only because i see you as a danger but also i find it fun... If i see you on my team i wont back you up and i won't give up a good spot for a "more deserving tank", i don't care if you have the better gun, i'll move for a team player, but not for you.

For me, i dont like playing badly. Idc if i win or lose generally, unless im grinding to a tank and teams melting is the soup de jour....
But i like to think i'm a team player. I go where i think im needed, not where i think i can farm the most damage.
But i cant stand when i screw up a shot. Aim badly ....mis-time leading a light tank and miss. Or hit a bump as im about to fire...but all that is MY fault.....
However, i firmly believe, that if Wargaming didnt have RNG set up the way they do, i would likely have 2 marked most of my often played tanks.
But i cant. Because whenever i increase my mark to 68% or 69%, i cant the worst RNG possible. Shots just dont register. Out of 10 shots, 4-6 that were NOT misses, but actually connected, will do not even a crit or track. Just...no damage.
On a tank just sitting there.
Preferential treatment. Wargaming decided, through the coding, that my account is not allowed to have MOE beyond 1.

If you can barely get marks why would anyone with 3 marks fear you focusing them? Also its not my responsibility to make the game fun for my opponents its my responsibility to send their asses back to the garage no matter if its spamming premium or taking strong positions.

When most people play for fun, grind through stock tanks, no crew, play when so drunk they can't tell who the baddys are etc, getting better stats than them by spamming prem with your 9 skill crew and crapping on your team isn't really something to be proud of.
Its like winning a race when no one else knows its a race. Do you walk up to random people in the street and shout "3,2,1 go" really fast then run off shouting "i win i win" while the grown up is just standing there looking confused?
