I feel like it’s on the drummer, homeboy had a great flow for Nocturnal but whomever came after doesn’t have the same rhythmic sensibilities. Skilled yes, but not exactly tasteful

kidder83 The drummer didn’t leave until after Ritual, though. The lead guitar player left after Nocturnal, which is why they shifted their sound after that album.
