Great video, thank you! I know crabs swim to the top chamber of the pot, is there any way to get them out of the bottom chamber? I don't see any latches at the bottom, to access any crabs that may be down there.

@@crabcartel no, I live in CLT, my brother has lived in Jax for about 25 years, retired Navy. He lives off Atlantic Ave, not too far from the Walmart. He wants a couple of crab traps
In the video you watch I cut it and bend it by hand ✋️ with a pair of hand cutter and use my hand and a 2×4 to bend. But I'm making a video now using different technique so pls stay tuned.

So you can go to a place called Malone steel and buy them already bent. Just ask for crab trap squares it's already bent rebar 1/2 inch.

We just turn the Trap over and shake them through the baffle. Then shake them out the same way.
