did u put in degradable panels or fall away panels. i only ask so u wont get fined because they are required in texas. u can find the info for making legal crab traps in the outdoor annual.
If you watch the whole video, I talk about latching the door to the biodegradable string. This acts the same as the escape hatch and keeps the traps legal. I have started putting the escape hatch in all my traps because crab thieves will hook the door latch directly to the trap when the latch it at all.

I don't remember, but the last time I purchased a roll in October 2014 I spent $190 and bought the wire and several other cheeaper items.
