  • On the night of August 8, 1969, Tex Watson took Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, and Patricia Krenwinkel to "that house where Melcher used to live", as Manson had instructed him, to "totally destroy" everyone in it, and to do it "as gruesome as you can". The occupants of the house at 10050 Cielo Drive that evening were movie actress Sharon Tate, who was 8½ months pregnant and the wife of film director Roman Polanski; her friend and former lover Jay Sebring, a noted hairstylist; Polanski's friend and aspiring screenwriter Wojciech Frykowski; and Frykowski's girlfriend Abigail Folger, heiress to the Folgers coffee fortune and daughter of Peter Folger. This specific house was chosen because both Watson and Manson had been there on several occasions, and Watson was familiar with the layout.
The murder team arrived at Cielo Drive just past midnight on August 9, 1969. Watson climbed a telephone pole near the entrance gate and cut the phone line to the house. The murderers backed their car to the bottom of the hill that led to the estate and walked back up to the house. They thought that the gate might be electrified or equipped with an alarm, so they climbed an embankment to the right of the gate and entered the grounds. Headlights approached them from within the angled property, and Watson ordered the women to lie in the bushes. He stepped out and ordered the approaching driver to halt. Steven Parent had been visiting the property's caretaker William Garretson, who lived in the guest house. Watson leveled a .22-caliber revolver at Parent, and the frightened youth begged him not to hurt him, claiming that he would not say anything. Watson lunged at Parent with a knife, giving him a defensive slash wound on the palm of his hand that severed tendons and tore the boy's watch off his wrist, then he shot him four times in the chest and abdomen, killing him. Watson ordered the women to help push the car farther up the driveway. Watson next cut the screen of a window, then told Kasabian to keep watch down by the gate; she walked over to Parent's car and waited. Watson removed the screen, entered through the window, and let Atkins and Krenwinkel in through the front door. He whispered to Atkins and awoke Frykowski who was sleeping on the living room couch. Watson kicked him in the head, and Frykowski asked him who he was and what he was doing there. Watson replied, "I'm the devil, and I'm here to do the devil's business." On Watson's direction, Atkins found the house's three other occupants with Krenwinkel's help and forced them to the living room. Watson began to tie Tate and Sebring together by their necks with rope which he had brought, and he slung it over one of the living room's ceiling beams. Sebring protested the murderers' rough treatment of the pregnant Tate, so Watson shot him. Folger was taken momentarily back to her bedroom for her purse, and she gave the murderers $70. Watson then stabbed Sebring seven times. Frykowski's hands had been bound with a towel, but he freed himself and began struggling with Atkins, who stabbed at his legs with a knife. He fought his way out the front door and onto the porch, but Watson caught up with him, struck him over the head with the gun multiple times, stabbed him repeatedly, and shot him twice. Kasabian had heard "horrifying sounds" and moved toward the house from her position in the driveway. She told Atkins that someone was coming in an attempt to stop the murders. Inside the house, Folger escaped from Krenwinkel and fled out a bedroom door to the pool area. Krenwinkel pursued her and caught her on the front lawn where she stabbed her and tackled her to the ground. Watson then helped finish her off; her assailants stabbed her a total of 28 times. Frykowski struggled across the lawn, but Watson murdered him with a final flurry of stabbing. Frykowski suffered 51 stab wounds, and had also been struck 13 times in the head with the butt of Watson’s gun, which bent the barrel and broke off one side of the gun grip, which was recovered at the scene. In the house, Tate pleaded to be allowed to live long enough to give birth, and offered herself as a hostage in an attempt to save the life of her unborn child, but both Atkins and Watson stabbed Tate 16 times, killing her. Manson had told the women to "leave a sign-something witchy", so Atkins wrote "pig" on the front door in Tate's blood.

Frykowski survived the concentration camps in Poland. The guy was a tough bastard. Call him a druggie all you want but drugs don’t ruin everyone. He deserves respect for the way he fought for his life and his will to survive.

He definitely went out like a soldier. You're correct drugs don't "ruin everyone" but the fact that him and Jay Sebring were loaded and raped a man (this is on public record at the LAPD) definitely says a lot about the Frykowski's character. It seems that the "innocent victims" were not so innocent. In addition, to the drugs there was a lot of Satanism and black magic at the house on Cielo Drive. Bartek Frykowski, the son of Voytek, was found stabbed to death in a mansion in Poland 1999. He is buried in Lodz. Something so weird happened in the summer of 1969 that still has ramifications. Sharon and Jay were friends. Sharon was not like that. She was one of the few in Hollywood who didn't sleep with everyone. Jay was also close to her family. He had taught Doris Tate, Sharon's mom how to cut hair. Sharon ended their relationship for Roman. Jay always wanted Sharon back.Roman was never jealous of Jay he never considered Jay a threat to him. So stop saying crap without doing your homework. Sharon was very much in love with Roman. She was actually wanting to leave Hollywood and be a mom and focus on her family. She was starting to see Roman for what he was. She was thinking about leaving him of he didn't change which he wasn't. Sharon was not a cheater. Sharon's dad was very much in the service.if you actually do your homework you would know Charles Manson was part of something else. The gov tested lsd on a lot of people and his clan was no different. Charles Manson's ties go deeper then just trying to get into Hollywood. In the end no one liked him. He was dirty , his girls were and no one wanted that to be in anything representing Hollywood at the time. A lot of those girls were educated and he turned them all in to murderers. It's crazy how far people can go when their emotions and childhood trauma and adult trauma are pretend on. In the end they chose to continue to be a part of it and murder.

When Watson and the rest of them were coming through the gate as Parent was leaving, And we all know he was shot four times, I can't believe Jay, Abigail, Sharon, or Wojciech didn't hear the shots or Garretson hearing the desperate screams when they were all being murdered. In Bugliosi's book they had said when the police found Garretson in the gatehouse they noticed that his stereo speakers volume was up pretty high. Great stuff. Loved listening to this.

The fact that Roman directed "Rosemary's Baby" and they killed his baby the night before killing a woman named Rosemary definitely has occult symbology. That appears to have had some meaning to someone within that group. As far as the "baby cut from the womb", Tom was merely speaking on a woman he met that claimed to be that baby. I always thought there were individuals who knew more, or were involved in, this crime. I too, suspected Polanski. It was hearsay that he had told Sharon to have an abortion, but she refused. Their relationship was not a good one. Polanski had his hands dirty in alot of stuff. I speculated also, that he didn't like Sebring, and the fact that he was there with his pregnant wife, staying in the house, may have infuriated him. I also believed Garretson knew more than he told. He told detectives he had his music playing loud. How odd that 3/4 mile away, a man heard the screams of a man begging "no...please God, no"...This was in a location with rolling hills and trees. Sounds may be altered, but the guy definitely heard something.
There is so much strange and questionable content of this crime, and how it came about. Heck, I even thought once that Satanism may have been a catalyst, with Roman making horror movies like Rosemary's baby and others. Remember Manson said to leave something "witchy." Watson said he was "the devil here to do the devil's business." Don't know, that may be way out there, but I'm convinced of manipulation coming full circle in the whole of the story. To me, Polanski looked somewhat suspiciously too distraught when he stepped out the car back on American soil.
In all, we may never know the whole truth, as evidence has been mishandled or hidden for reasons we know nothing of. I really want to read the book! Great show.

I doubt if Roman had anything to do with it. The wires being cut at Jay's house could've been that Manson bunch going there if they had gotten hold of Jay's wallet and found his address, went there to see if anyone was there. All speculation.

Why would 40 nations sign a peace treaty stating that they won't use weather modification as an instrument of warfare in 1977? Unless of course the technology already existed 44 years ago to modify the weather. Contrails from jets dissipate almost immediately. However, the streams of white mist that stay in the atmosphere for hours, sometimes days at a time, those are chemtrails filled with toxic metals to reflect the sun. The sun is releasing toxic amounts of radiation through solar flares and is becoming a threat to our planet. This can all be verified through independent research. @@kushandchemtrails If the sun is releasing toxic amounts of radiation, then why would you be upset or concerned with supposed efforts in the form of chemtrails to combat that? Pick a lane. In any event, the sun constantly releases radiation in varying amounts. We have a magnet field surrounding the planet that negates large amounts of that radiation. No supposed chemtrails needed. Otherwise there would likely be no life on this planet.
But perhaps the REAL weather modification threat you should be concerned about is the collective modification we are ALL engaged in to one extent or another, thru the use of carbon emitting fossil fuels. Everytime someone gets behind the wheel of a gas guzzling SUV. Everytime we turn on the gas heating during winter weather, etc., THAT is the greatest weather (or climate) modification experiment. And it is one that all of the almost 8 billion of us are engaged in. No 'chemtrails' necessary. Get the picture?

Passcode: along with chrissie I am a long time student of this case.. Tom backs up his claim about Frykowski, look up nikolas Schreck- frykowski was Romans friend who Roman says while given a lie detector test was a leech, leeching off of him. He was not a film maker as he preferred to call himself. Canadians drug lords were delivering a shipment of MDA extacy to Frykowski. He was Ted distribution rights since MDA was not illegal in 69. Linda kasabian who stole 5 grand from her ex husband paid Frykowski 1000 dollars for extacy which turned out to be a poor batch. It was Linda’s idea with Watson to go to taxes rented house 10050 Ceilo drive to rob them of this shipment of MDA but since they were so high. Violence escalated to murder and once they shot sebringwho dealt cocaine to hisdelebrity clients whose cable wires and not the phone lines cut the night before in Sebrings house. Sharon was collateral damage. To provide drug motive at trial would’ve revealed powerful peoples drug habits so helter skelter was given as motive. Bugliosi gave Atkins a narrative to hide the drug motive. Killers knew the occupants mainly Frykowski and Folgers. Frykowski was using Folgers . She was to fly home and enter rehab on Saturday. Shecwanted to leave frykowski. Sharon complained bitterly to Roman wanting to kick frykowski out of the house since he was having unseemly people she didn’t know. Kasabian was not brainwashed, she joined mansons family that July. So Manson had no time to convince her of helter skelter. It wasn’t the motive. Watson actually knew atlobelli who rented the house out to Roman . Watson lived for 3 months in the guesthouse in 68. Sharon who moved in to Ceilo in Jan went to Europe to film 13 chairs and didn’t come back till July 21 st murders were Aug 8 - actually the 9 th at midnight. Sharon was collateral damage. She was supposed to stay with Sheila wells but last minute decided to stay home since she was tired and hot. House had no central air. Roman was in England searching for location sites for day of the dolphin.fSharon would be alive today if not for Frykowsis drug dealing while he lived in the house while Roman and Sharon were away.
