It’s about the First World War. At Christmas 1914 there was a short truce on Christmas Day when the fighting stopped. This is a very powerful reminder that we must never forget the sacrifices made by the soldiers who lost their lives in battle. 🙏🏻 ✝️ 🕊️

They don't glorify war, they teach you history w really good songs! (For more info on The Christmas Truce, go to The Sabaton History Channel!) Two more videos to introduce you to this great band: Bismarck, original video. And Night Witches, *animated story video*!
Much of Sabaton's music is about specific historical events; such as the last battle of the Samurai (Shiroyama), D-Day (Primo Victoria), the fall of Poland (40:1), but also about the people who did extraordinary things in the hardest of times. Audie Murphy (To hell and back), Witold Pilecki (Prisoner 4859), Milunka Savic (The Lady of the Dark), Albert Severin Roche (The First Soldier), "The Night Witches" (song of the same name), and others who showed tremendous bravery, courage, and even mercy; Leslie “Bull” Allen (The Ballad of Bull), Franz Stiegler (No bullets fly). The believe history should be remembered, and the heroes honored for their sacrafices.
