I dunno, man. The coaching was making sure you were never anywhere near the limit at any moment, so of course it didn't feel playful and chuckable. Watch PhD Racing's first trackday video with their development car and you'll see what I mean.
I remember when, in the 90s BMWs lasted for 250-300K trouble free miles. Now right after the warranty expires, they fall apart faster than the defunct Yugo.
They’re not as bad as they used to be. The S58 has also been a pretty solid engine for something with this degree of performance. Relative to other high performance cars, they’re not too bad. The simplicity of the old ones that had a different purpose made those easier to get to high mileage. It’s sad that we won’t see anything more like that.
I’m sorry- this guy’s subjective opinion is so far from the mark of other comprehensive reviews, that I question his auto acumen. I would refer you to Car& Driver’s accurate appraisal of this latest M2 iteration- it’s superb.
The silhouette is decent, but another failure from BMW's design team for the front and rear fascias.

That was hard to watch. I’d absolute hate coaching like that the whole time.
