Hiii! I just wanna ask. Since US ton and Metric ton has a different equivalent of kg per ton, should we put what kind of conversion system we used to convert ton to kg? I'm actually answering my assignment in Chemistry rn, that's why. Thanks!
0:40 is what I want to learn. To calculate 1ft of W8x10 weight in Tons: NOTE: 8 is the approx depth of the beam, 10 is the lineal weight in pounds/foot =Length * Unit Weight * Conversion =1ft * 10lb/ft * (1US Ton/2000lb) =0.005 US Tons
You are decimalising the lb 2204 (.6) lb what is .6 of a lb ? Oz is what you should be talking ? . You could alway make it easy and just use kg and tonnes .

Shame on me, but I never knew that US ton is different than a metric ton, but how about UK? What kind of ton they use?
They have the metric system so they use the metric tonne

There are no good explanations I am so dead with my homework
