- Опубліковано 19 тра 2021
- This metric system review video tutorial provides an overview / review of how to convert from one unit to another using a technique called dimensional analysis or the factor label method. It shows you how perform conversions with SI units in the metric system and in the english system including units that contain exponents such as squares and cubes. It provides unit conversion practice problems that relates to chemistry, physics, and algebra. It contains word problems that relates to density and even a few sat proportion word problems.

Man you’re literally a life saver. Make everything my teachers say so much more easy to understand.
True
This guy is more than a life saver, i got a A+ in statistics because of him.

He's God sent ❤❤❤Thanks to utube.
I'm in university taking first-year chem, and we're starting the year with dimensional analysis, which has been a huge struggle for me to understand until i found this video. It has helped me really connect the dots in terms of the steps used to solve dimensional analysis problems, which is such a satisfying experience. One thing i would recommend is that when you put the word problems on the screen, maybe place them a few centimeters down towards the middle, because when the video is paused, the video title obscures the question. Great video, otherwise!
@@stephenperry3258 Are you a fan of Khan Academy, some stuff they say makes no sense to me when I'm studying like year 12 maths when I'm just a year five student.
omg I'm taking ChE too huhu
Bro im in highschool doing the same shit. My teacher basically briefed over it casually
how did it go?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌
I just want to say how much i appreciate you! My stats instructor linked your videos to her online lectures last semester and they helped me get through the class. This semester I'm in chemistry and now you're helping with that! Thank you!
This guy has helped me clear up more confusion on math than any other service or tutor I have ever had.

I have just recently started at the University...and i gotta say, you explain much better than the lectures....you have helped me a lot with my math and physics...Thank You
I wouldnt survive my first week of college without you
I also would like to give you a big thank you! Your work with these videos has helped me so much to understand these subjects that i need in my studies. It is very surprising for me that i learn much better from your short videos than from the materials that they give us from the school and they are in my native language but they are still much harder to understand. Keep going buddy .
Man saved us all in our tests 🤞🤞 huge respect bro, he made it easy for me
Your videos have helped me out so much. There is also another way to solve the mass in kg for the book. You can just convert the 12 oz to pounds, equaling 0.75. After calculating that, you can tack "0.75" onto 7 lbs, resulting in 7.75 lbs. From there, just convert lbs -> kg and you get 3.5227.
Thats how i did it 👍
Thanks for carrying me for my college years😂
Frr
My first time actually watching a chemistry video from you. I've always watched your calculus vids but now I'm taking chem.
Hello abraham
Update: I received an A this semester 😁
@@dubemforsure7184 hello Dubrem
Thank youuu for this video. You really are great on making complicated and boring stuffs more easier for my brains to digest. I just finished watching other videos tackling this topic but they lack explanation on the little things or so you call basics. But you really are great by starting to teach the basics then without me noticing that the problems are getting harder and harder. But because you teach us from the start or the basics, it is easy to come along and go with you flow of teaching.
We appreciate your genuinely soothing explanation, I understood pretty well and you just made unit conversion a lot easier. Thank you!
Dimensional analysis has been a huge barrier for me when it comes to stoichiometry calculations later down the line, so thank you for providing this to us. You are a true savior, as you outcompete most professors
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a fantastic video/lecture on Converting Units with Conversion Factors- Metric System Review and Dimension Analysis. From watching this video and solving problems, finally I understand Converting Units with Conversion Factors from start to finish. This is an error free video/lecture on UA-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Honestly I didn't think someone was actually able to ever explain this to me, that's dang impressive 🤓
Who’s here for physics? 👇

God I was scared I would find a video like this but thank goodness I found. Keep it up. You don't know how many lives you are saving.
No other channel breaks it down like this one. Thank you.
I 100% agree, good that there are still those who explain by heart
My face 😮 when you explained what I’ve been struggling with for the past hours! Wow 😮 it’s so easy when you explain it.
I'd like to express my gratitude for creating such an easily digestible video.
I rarely comment but this video deserves it thanks :)
Thank you Thank you Thank you! I am going back to school after many years to start a new career and need to pass a chemistry class for my major. Its been about 20 years since I took chemistry and I completely forgot how to do conversions. This just saved me!
Was literally about to have a mental breakdown because I couldn’t figure out exactly what my teacher was talking about. Google wasn’t helping and I was really close to giving up. Thankfully I found this video, it really cleared up a lot of things!!
hey, you’re a life saver. this is huge. Crystal clear to understand. i can't thank you enough.
This is really helping me for my science/Physics class this year. Thank you very much❗️🙏 😊
Your voice is so lovely, and everything was explained so easily and simply to understand. Because of your way of teaching, I have received very good scores on acuplacer which saves me time and money in college. Thank you. You are a great teacher.
I love the conversion style, it has really helped me a lot dealing with metric system
I was about to kms over physics. Fortunately, my man OCT out here teaching me this. My uni's way is too complicated.
awesome, easy to understand and you show your work without skipping steps. thanks
LOVE THIS TUTORIAL! I can tell you are from the east coast, wish I could see what you look like.
I have been using your videos to study for the HESI math portion and they really helping me! you should make a math HESI playlist !
the way i didn't understand this all semester and i understood him from a 40 min video... thank god. i have a physics test literally TODAY and this is on it, LIFESAVER!!!
So thankful for you and this channel!! You actually make sense.. so so helpful
Thank you I had no knowledge of chemistry in high school now I am in college and I failed last semester As I watch your videos I have hope of passing this time. I admire your patience in making the tasks easy to learn.
Watching this after a lecture. You made this so much easier to understand.
u indeed are the goat had to come back and touch up on some knowledge for my college chem class. life saver
I always like before watching because I know its gonna be good and Im gonna leave here smarter than I came.lol He's so good at his craft. Thank you !!

I might add that IT ALWAYS WORKS, so use it every time
@@ChemEICastI had this dimensional analysis in my General Chemistry course 2 semesters ago, last semester I had it too in General Physics and some of my Calculus problems. This video single handedly helped me through my introductory courses in Science college.
@@extreme97554 And knowing dimensional analysis can give a logical instinct if the answer is true or not. This will save us a lot from the skepticism 😂
I hope i can do this...
