here is the most requested recipe for you.. Kerala Special Unniyappam ..!! Just try and enjoy the taste..!
Ingredients :-
White raw rice - 500gm
Jaggery - 400gm
water - 1/4 cup (to dissolve jaggery)
Banana - 4-5 nos (small ripe)
cooked rice - 3/4 - 1 Cup
salt -1/8 tsp
cardamom powder - 2 tsp
ghee - 2 Tbsp
Coconut flakes - 1/2 cup
Sesame seeds (black ) - 2 1/2 tsp
Oil - to fry

I love this unniappam, but I don't eat it any more because of the oil. It is alright to eat one or two, but because it tastes so good, I tend to make a pig of myself and suffer heartburn later. Well children can enjoy this snack. Even most adults can enjoy this wonderful snack with tea, without any problems. A really wonderful snack. You have brought back sweet memories of this snack and inspiring me to cook and eat it. The temptation is too strong, how to refrain. Thank you dear for sharing a delicious and soft snack. Mama i tried this recipe the taste was amazing but the bottom of the appam is very crispy and little hard.. Can you clear my doubt
the outer layer will be a bit crispy.. and inner will be so soft.. this will be so hard if overcooked
