One of the best things you can do as a GM is name every character. It gives the players an instant vibe and elevates them from just a shopkeep to Old Granny Hayweather. Instant way to add more roleplaying/improv to your game.
There’s something utterly realistic but also laden with pathos about the way all 3 NPCs they interact with have such wildly different reactions to this guard’s drinking. And then The Gunner Channel kills them all and never gives them another thought.

It starts off as just a funny line but then you kind of realize that there's actually no real reason for anyone except these two to suspect why it would belong to anyone except the guy who's holding it
I feel like this really downplays the delay the first npc had in just longingly looking at Zach that prompted the “kiss him”. The desire Brennan put without words was tangible 😂
I feel so bad for that guy. But it would be hilarious if he came back as a villain if/when they do season 2. I can't decide if him being a minor inconvenience or a big bad would be funniest.
He captures them and puts something in their pocket that says "property of bbeg" when they pull it out: BBEG: What is that? Zac: uh. It says it's yours. BBEG: it does? That's odd. Why would that be mine...you pulled it out of YOUR pocket.
A year later and this is finally going into a playlist. This is probably my favorite moment of all time collegehumor stuff, for whatever reason. Something about Zac just absolutely wrecking this guy's life with a weirdly well placed nat 20 is just so classic.
