I just bought a Huge Philo Dark Lord. It would really be great if you did a “How to care” for DL Philos. There just isn’t any info available! I wish I could add a pic of mine…I think you’d love it!
Late to the party here, but just wanted to say thanks, my first dark lord is on its way to me, just a baby or rooted cutting (not sure which) and i was curious as to what its juvenile form was like and what sort of time frame i was looking at till it got cool lol. Love all your videos! Always so informative
Nunca supe hasta hace poco , que philodendro tengo en mi casa , yo compre este philodendro en una pequeña tienda de barrio que soy clienta hace muchos años y este philodendro lo tenian hacia como dos años creciendo feliz pero nadie lo compro , un día lo mire mas que de costumbre porque cada vez era mas y mas oscuro y su aspecto me llamo mi atención , les pregunté si me lo vendian y si ! fue una planta para mi cara pero era muy muy muy grande , pague creo recordar 60 € ( para mi es y era caro ) el tamaño en el momento de la compra era como el doble del que nos enseñas en el vídeo y ahora en mi cada es aun mas grande vomo el doble ; ahora se por tu video y un par mas que busque para saber cual podia ser , que es un " Señor Oscuro" , me ha costado encontrar sobretodo en su forma adulta , cambia mucho , sus hojas son muy grandes y de un profundo y oscuro verde con un tono granate en su envés. Es una planta muy bonita y de facil cuidados, yo la tengo en una gran mesa del salon orientación sur a dos metros de la ventana , en uma maceta de plástico tamaño 50 . Un saludo 💌
Water or soil propagation. I actually got mine from my aunt as a cutting and she put it directly in soil. My sister took a pup from mine and is water propagating right now.
I recently became so curious about the Pink Dark Lord, and acquired one. I ordered from a seller in Indonesia to ship to my Oregon address in the U.S….It arrived as a rooted chonk with five darker leaves and one super bright all pink leaf. I potted it up after a week in filtered water and it placed it in a well lit Southern facing window where it gets indirect bright light all day. It has since put up two more bright pink leaves and doesn’t seem to be slowing at all. I am hoping it wasn’t pre-treated as the Pink Congo’s are, to force a pink variegation, but since I don’t see many others around, or hear much about it anywhere, I assume it has been?
Not sure, but thanks for sharing didn't even know that was something that was being sold, but if it has just entered the market might take some time for people to pick up on it 😊
I saw a largish one for £40 a few weeks ago at a local garden centre. I did't buy it and now i hate myself. Every time i think back to that moment i want to cry. I'd wanted one for ages, too. I've found one with three leaves that's a reasonable price, i think. Would you recommend buying?

I have one and I find them one of the easiest philodendrons they are even pretty pest resistant from my experiences

They are treated. It’s a scam. Eventually it will stop producing pink leaves.
