It really just goes to show that no matter how good your show is, no matter how much everyone loves the different series, one bad ending can ruin everything.
i had the same reaction and im not letting go of hope that trollhunters has ended i searched it up and it said that netflix didnt have any plans to continue trollhunters after rise of the titans with any shows or movies but i still believe that there is no way there gonna leave us like this that they reversed time and everything we watched just went to waste

If only if this series will remove those bothersome scenes(e.g. Steve challenges Jim for no reason, the public fight scene, Steve’s threatening Jim for breaking his life, the part where Steve ‘apologize’ to Claire, the whole dodgeball scene, the part where Steve steals Claire’s spotlight, the school scene in the day Jim’s in a 1v1 against Draal, etc.), the episodes can be merged(e.g. Becoming: Part 2 + Wherefore Art Thee Trollhunter = Becoming, then Becoming Part 1 renamed as “The Discovery of the Amulet.” Waka Chaka + Win Lose or Draal = Impures. So I’m Dating a Sorceress + Excorsism of Claire Nuñez = Return of Angor Rot. Etc.), and the Tales of Arcadia shorts everybody wanted or demanded. Let’s not forget about the Harley Quinn/Wednesday Addams treatment by having Claire Nuñez having her own streaming series, even though this was unlikely!

Alright People there I have came up with an Idea which makes a new ending for Trollhunters rise of the titans that continues the franchise (You may not like what I will say first but it will be worth it) so In the final Battle (Before this Strictler survives) Jim is in the epic Battle with Belrock as he does defeat her but he has to use all of his trollhunter strength and power as he defeats her in result Jim dies as Claire mourns as well as the others soon the scene is cut to Jim's grave where everyone is gathered around to mourn over the Trollhunters death then a black screen shows 1 month later Jim's grave is there with a flower finally wilted as the ground shakes a hand has gotten out with a menacing voice saying You will rise as the screen goes black this will open a nwew possible outcomes with the franchise continuing with Jim as a Antagonist this was helped by Chat gpt (Write for Me) let me know what you think
I think the main problem with the visuals of this theme song, as well as the show itself, is that its camera angles and storyboarding are SO FLAT. 90% of all clips are at an eye level and use simple cuts for scene changes. That sort of framing gives the show a simmilar feeling to how a sitcom is framed, and while simple eye-level scenes are perfectly fine for comedic, dialouge-based moments, it also prevents more important scenes (like the alien or hamster getting his powers) from being special. In fact, that sort of framing makes these extrodinary events seem incredibly mundane, and that would be fine if that was part of the joke (and the storyboarding makes it look like it IS part of a joke), but the writing clearly indicates that it's not. (Hamster's introduction as a hero would have been a lot more impactful if they used a low angle while panning up to him, reallyt displaying the awe factor here ) I think this is especially a problem when it comes to the theme song of a show, the part of the show that tends to have the most effort put into it animation-wise. While phineas and ferb's intro also contained many eye-level shots, it was part of a comedic montage, and the intro did have their fair share of complex camera shots (like the pages of the calander flying in the distance and candace playing whack a mole with her brothers) As for milo murphy's law, in addition to using more complex camera manuevers (such as a high angle that sweeps into a low angle at the beginning) the main camera angle for that intro is a eye-level shot of milo that's contstantly fixed to him that slowly pans out to show all the wacky stuff that's trying to kill him. It's does a perfect job at putting us in Milo's shoes, and in addition to his completely nonchalant facial expression, shows how this is just an everyday occurance to him. In addition, Gretel's design is not that good. I like how unique it is compared to the others, but her colors are so oversaturated (even AFTER desaturating them from her initial design) and her face tends to be emotionless because she barely looks at anything in the show. She just kind of stares into the void. (I think another problem is due to the animators just reusing the same facial expression over and over and over again). I was initially going to state that maybe an issue with her design is that she lacks eyebrows (a key feature in expressions), but phineas and ferb don't have eyebrows either, and they look fine. Then again, phineas physically doesn't have room for eyebrows and ferb is purposely meant to look expresssionless, so IDK. I definietely feel giving gretel eyebrows would have done a lot to make her look more expressive.
Dang it's already been a year since that piece of crap was released. Looking back on the movie the ending wasn't the only problem. Everything from the villains to the deaths to the dynamics was all dog crap. This movie wanted to be an Endgame but it wasn't even an Avengers. I want to make a 1 hour long video going in dept talking about every little that was wrong with the movie but I might have to wait on that. Ever since it came out I've only watched TOA probably 2 times, that's how bad it was to ruin the franchise.
