I wanna be positive about this remake, but things like this can easily go sideways and can ruin the entire reputation of a franchise. But from what they've shown, this remake could turn out okay or even good.
I like the idea of a fully animated remake! But the live action seems very promising. They said that they’re going to expand on the lore (with more Kyoshi scene, and the knowledge of Raava spirit) + it’s going to attract a lot of new people that haven’t watched it ! It’s going to be a big boost for the future of Avatar Studio with the new animated film for the adult gaang and the new earthbender animated show (with a lot of new modern animation technique!) so Im really excited overall 😁
I’ve already seen the movie so there would be no point for me to see the show. It’s like they are trying to copy what the animators do for the anime shows
This video says a whole bunch of nothing lol. What's the point in ever making movie versions of books or video games or game versions of movies or movies of shows or even animes of Mangas? It's just different ways to enjoy it. Somebody might not be a fan of cartoons and animation but may still like the avatar story.
I think this video says what my opinion is. I get that there are some people who don’t like animation but still like the Avatar story, but I think there’s a reason for why it’s an animated show in the first place, and I personally don’t think there’s a point in adapting a TV series into another TV series but in a different medium. However, I am interested in how accurate it will be to the original show.
@DoctorHero the reason it's an animated show is because the ones who wrote the story are animators lmao Different strokes for different folks. How do you expect it to ever be a timeless story that transcends generations if you think it should never be retold a different way? And as for accuracy, what difference does it make if it's perfectly accurate if the story turns out good anyway?
@@Didmikedothis2023 You know, you’re right. Maybe I’ve just grown a dislike towards live action remakes in general because of all the terrible Disney live action remakes over the years. There’s nothing wrong with retelling the story in a different way, I was just kind of biased in the video.
That's how I feel about How to Train your Dragon... literally it didn't need to be remade at all!!!
