I’m wondering this also! My Fezzik (Mango x Pixie baby) is super sweet and loves climbing all over us but we end up covered with little scratches from us sharp little claws.
Bless thank you! My girl (i think) has her winter shed it's cracking everywhere but won't come off. I've been soaking 2x daily and lathering in a bit of Vaseline after. I mist the enclosure 2x daily and its humid to the touch all the time, 3 feet of substrate, very moist and she is underground a lot.. I don't understand why her skin won't come off but it's all broken up as if it is supposed to be coming off Also friendly reminder of desire to learn or attempt to make the best educated guess on the sex of a 3-6 month old tegu

My greatest hope to get a tegu from you eventually! But I have to be responsible and wait til I have room for another one 😂 but man some of the babies you have been throwing are INSANE and I just can’t wait. Have to remind myself it’s only going to get better as you go with these new tegus! 🩵
My friend has a red tegu that from time to time has shedding issues . He throws as much humidity as humanly possible and he sometimes has to give him a good soak my gold tegu dose not have an issue at all . I think his is one genetic & two his humidity is in the air yours is soil . As for me I am clumsy watering plants & it works out .
