I wish that there were dedicated centers kind of like 24 hour fitnesses or Starbucks coffees or any other business that's on every corner. Places where people could actually sit face-to-face and be with each other. And maybe be coached on how to actually listen. I know someone who used to consistently narrate everything that was going on with her life as she walked through the house all the time. Hello? Those thoughts are supposed to be silent inside your head not feeling the air every moment of the day. This person would talk and talk and talk but never listen. One day I finally said hey how about you talk for a half an hour and then I'll talk for a half an hour? This person didn't get it. This person never wants to hear or asks to hear anything about what's going on inside of me. The other day I was so surprised that this person asked me about how my new job is going. I said thank you after giving a brief how it's going well the people are nice and immediately this person segued into asking me about having me introduce her to someone that so she could do a project with them. Oh yes then I realized why she asked me about my job, it's never about me. This person also does that thing where as soon as you mention something she grabs the topic starts talking about her own life it's like grabbing the microphone and not letting it go. Sad.

When is a major truth hidden until the rules are changed? That is what I deal with. I have examples.

I don't get why , when she said when she got interviewed about the Cristhian guy on the radio. "if I have sex with you and you don't agree, it's called rape". She mentioned she left the interview. Why? What he said is right, it would be rape...that's (part) of the definition of rape. Without the other person's approval. He was stating the obvious and putting the example, not that he WAS ACTUALLY going to rape her. That's being closed mind I believe. She said herself that she likes to have conversations.

    HUM, HUM, HUM, HUM, HUM
It may just be me, public speakers who subconsciously use lag words,HUM, so and k, degrade the presentation. I Watched her give this same talk 2 years later, with same enormous number of Hums......i am aware she likely does not realize this is happening.
