Definitely looking for an updated / modernized version of these videos. Its obvious many of these weren't practical and I honestly expected more from this channel.

The last look was good. Especially the shoes.
Last look was definitely the best in my opinion.
I think the only think wrong in these outfits was the Sandals and The cargo pants. everything else was dashing as can be. Navy Blazer has been and always will be a classic.

guys you're the one, my interview is sorted. At first thought that the green pants with side pockets were too much out of the workplace, but the Biomba and the Gucci really helped me to get it right. Love you so so much.

@@jasminderpinder sweater and blazer doesn't necessarily look bad - see Philip Seymour Hoffman's last outfit in the Talented Mr ripley for an example. He's just a terrible stylist
My favorite looks are The Preppy Update and Timeless & Appropriate. Classic looks that always work.

This video was from a very long time ago and the shirt with the green pants was very beautiful at the time. And number three is just a formal suit with pants in a different color, and the most beautiful thing left is jeans with a shirt, which is still beautiful. Note that currently I do not like to wear a blazer with jeans very much. It is preferable that the jeans be black or at least white. This is a formal suit jacket, and it is preferable to wear a blazer or a sports coat.
I have an old pinstripe navy jacket but couldn't figure out what to do with it. Will definitely try out the preppy and timeless looks :)

All of them are nice.
Everyone's complaining about the first three outfits being bad, but i think that those 3 are the most interesting. Fashion is about experimenting and being creative. Most of you guys would swap the more "statement pieces" for a more classic item. But that would just make those outfits boring. Everyone knows how to wear a navy blazer, this video shows how to wear it differently. It's not like he is wearing a traffic cone or smt like on the runways.

i am 6'2" and am thinking of getting a regular size to try and get the shorter blazer look as shown in this video. looks much trendier than the classical sizing.

you can often find a lot of similar items to these at stores like H&M for a very reasonable price. then you can combine to create similar looks. hope that helps

I found all of the looks interesting. It takes a bit of a non-conformist to pull off some of these looks but they really work in my eyes.

Very last one was the only acceptable one to me. I hated the others. If you want to go casual, lose the blazer and go with a vest instead.

+ManCave Mayhem . I highly agree. I think only someone in their early 20s or younger would consider wearing the eccentric styles demonstrated in the earlier versions. The point of dressing up is so that people appreciate our effort to look presentable.

This video is 10 years old now, and these looks are actually not terrible. They look ok, even today.
Ok, the bright green trousers stand out, but you could easily go for a more muted shade and you'd have a great look. And they clearly wanted to live up to their status as a 'fashion publication' and felt they had to put sandals with a blazer. It's a good look overall, but in the real world, you'd probably go for some loafers or sneakers.
Anything he puts on the model after he says “splash” makes me die inside a little.

all of the styles, i can say are well put together, most people hating on the pants probably have some sort of social trauma and have to conform to buying what everyone around them tell them to feel validated as men.
The bright green pants can work but not if you wear them like a second guess, strut them properly and have the right attitude, always and you will look great but if you cant be confident in what you wear, don't even try. Its meant to be a statement to the eccentric to stand out it's supposed to be the opposite of bland and if you think bland = manly, style is not for you.

Xavier Ortiz. To be frank, I quite like the odd bright colour in a man's outfit. Red chinos always seem to fit a white/gingham shirt. I'm not really a fan of the green though, I just can't see how it works.

My most favorite is number 3.
could you replace the oxfords of the preppy look, the sandals of the summer in the city look, and the monkstrap of the timeless look with appropriate loafer or slip on? fashion is supposed to reflect the wearer.
I think most of the looks have the right idea, but he takes it 3 steps too far. Classics with a twist are great. Over the top designer labels? No so much.
Look 1: Lose the lime green pants, olive chinos be much better
Look 2: No cargos....regular pants would make the outfit nice
Look 3: Swap sandals with loafers, ditch the scarf
Look 4 and Look 5 are good in my opinion

i think this was the best blazer video ive seen with all the clips on youtube. Great detail, love all the shoes, comments, and thoughts. Great use of the tie and green pants.
