Sometimes it needs the outsider's eyes to see the beauty that the insider's eyes are blind to. Beauties that we recognize only when we step away and look back or when we approach the very first time - and the feeling of this experience will never go away. There will be people that argue you see this or that wrong. People who never stepped away, people who never saw it from the outside. They are wrong and you are right.
I live in the Netherlands, my parents are from origin Turkish, but I love Hungary. Been there several times. Budapest, Szeged, Keckskemet. Keep up the good work.

Hey! Thanks for the nice video! Really warmed my heart. I used to live abroad for 15 years but I luckily moved back to Budapest 4 years ago. ❤❤❤ Can you make a video about Somlói Galuska too? ❤❤❤

Well narrated. I taught English in Hungary during the 2018-1019 school year. I hope to return this fall to teach yet again at Egressy Gabor Informatics High School in Pest. There is indeed something mesmerizing about Budapest, and in equal measure something magical about the rest of Hungary as well. But here's some trivia for you: Did you know? The very last original Line 1 (Yellow line) subway car does not exist in Hungary. No, that very last car resides in Kennebunk, Maine at the Seashore Trolley & Train Museum there. A bit of trivia for the man who treasures all things Hungarian. :)
Willie, you must make the next Hello Hungary or WoW Hungary film and you don't need patreon anymore and we'll be very satisfied with the product: honest, heartwarming, motivating. Keep on pushing, good luck in our home. Btw, am I see right that you haven't been to south east of Hungary? I strongly suggest to go Gyula and Szeged this summer. I understand youtotally. I first came to BP 8 years ago from Edinburgh and completely lost my heart to the city, country and people. I am even learning - with difficulty - the wonderfully baroque language. I envy you, Willie. Mazlista!
Wonderful job Willie, Petőfi or Vörösmarty couldn"t explain it better.... This coming from someone, who hated his own country Hungary, but after I traveled around so many places in the world, I felt in love with. Of course young age crtiticize everything - this was also between the reasons of my rejection. In age 22 I left my country full with resentment. But 3 years later I arrived back to start a new life... I learned the culture of optimism and watching to my homeland from different perspectives, from not too close, but through "others" eyes - and I loved what I saw. I like everything here... My only issue is that I doesn't found here (and nowhere else) what you already found: the love. But still I not gave up, and I'm sure that soon will arrive...
