My father left Poland in 1968 and emigrated to Canada "for a better life". He died at age 58, basically murdered as a consequence of incompetent governing. He'd probably still be alive had he never left. He's surely turning in his grave seeing what has happened to Canada since he died in 2004. 😪
My husband's parents did too. They settled in Germany and now my husband and I are in the US. My MIL is now widowed and has returned to Budapest, also where my FIL is buried. It's sickening what is happening here in the US. Americans need to hear the stories my husband's family can tell of the absolutely brutal years under communist rule. No one would make that choice for their country if they truly understood the consequences.

BS there isn't a formula. A simple no is effective when this Marxist trash hasn't been allowed to creep slowly into every institution. Once it's in a very strategic no it's required. There are 3 very important elements of the strategy. 1) expose it as quickly as possible forcing them to hasten their agenda further exposing them. 2) Non violent non compliance 3) Sabotage and undermine every attempt to implement this stuff. If you can, do it covertly. This allows you to stick around and do more damage.
My wife and I happened to be in Budapest at the same time Dave filmed this. Aside from the fact that Budapest is far more beautiful than any city that spent 45 years behind the Iron Curtain has any right to expect, he's absolutely correct about how stable and normal everything is while still being open, friendly and laid back. And they have a coffee shop dedicated to Roger Scruton, which was uplifting to see. Having been to London, Paris, Geneva, Zurich, Prague, Vienna and Amsterdam, I can say without a doubt that Budapest is my favorite European city (Prague being a close second). Great people. Beautiful city.
As an American living in Hungary, I can testify that this video hits the bulls-eye. Peaceful, friendly, a growing economy, with English as the first foreign language, and a wonderfully 'normal' place to live.
@BrutalOrc You should look at the numbers lefty. Almost daily we hear of new companies moving to Hungary to open up factories. There are not enough workers to fill all the jobs. The 4th best performing economy in the eu and one of the fastest growing. Yeah, look at the numbers.
Makes me incredibly sad about the state of the US and Canada. We are so far gone and so deeply entrenched in the woke agenda. Canada has fallen so far, where to begin?

I say to my wife all the time “would you consider leaving the country?” We have seriously talked about it. I don’t want to leave but if the US continues crumpling the way it is, I would really think about going. Our country is really unbelievable at times. If people from 50 years ago could come back and see the world today they wouldn’t believe it, it would seem like a bad dream. However, it is the reality of Americans that people with severe mental health have the loudest voices and most power right now and that has to change. I know other country’s are stronger and refuse to bow to the woke.
No. It's more like a nightmare! Even for those of us who grew up during the 70's and 80's, it seems like the Apocalypse of Revelation! Or the scenario from the LEFT BEHIND movies! Truly terrifying !😭😱🥺
@@barbaraz5251 Yeah, Hungary, Viktor Orban is anti-immigration. That's what most Americans forget. You can't just show up in these other countries because they are nice and expect they'll let you live there.
My grandparents came from Budapest.. my mom was full-blooded Hungarian so I'm half Hungarian and I'd love to visit that country. The food is the best the dancing the music the wine the people and the beauty of the countryside. And they're on the right side of what people want and think in this world today.
Another Hungarian descendant here from my paternal side, and if America ever hits the point of no return, I'll use the Citizenship through Ancestry program and return to the mother land
My mother, too, was born in Hungary. She was secreted out of the country by the Catholic Church during WWII & came to the US by the time she was 9 years old. We visited in about ‘88 & found her family, so I have been in touch with my uncle, aunt, and cousins for decades. It could be easy, indeed, to escape to Hungary. What a crazy world we live in!
Hungarians have first hand historical experience with socialism. Both communists style and National socialism. They don't want it back, no 2nd chance for them. Also Hungary lived under Islamic imperialist rule for 168 years plus suffered genocide from non-whites, the Mongols. The country doesn't have colonial past and no white guilt. Hungarians just wanna be left alone. Im Hungarian for the record.
What a great synopsis of the truth. I'm afraid however many of us don't see this clear. There is a huge part of this nation which falls for the western propaganda and the power-hungry lefties Hungary has. Never underestimate the dumb.
I’m so excited to watch this interview! I learned of Rod Dreher a couple of years ago when he was on Alisa Childers’ podcast. His book “Live Not By Lies” is a must-read!
As an outsider who has visited Hungary a few times, the one thing that was unmentioned is that Hungary is, in essence, an "outsider" culture. Hungary is not like its neighbors. They speak a language that is completely different from their neighbors or anyone else in Europe. (Finnish is not all that close to Hungarian.) Even their names are different: they use the Asian naming convention where the family name comes first. No one else in Europe does that. They've been on the losing end of the major world wars, which means they've been punished severely when they've gone along with their European neighbors. They still remember being occupied by Moslem conquerors (in their case, the Ottoman Turks), an experience no one to the north or west in Europe share (except Spain, but they've forgotten). It's no shock, given their history, that Hungarians do not aspire to be mindless euro-drones. It's one of the main things I love about Hungary It's also a great place to visit for reasons that have zero to do with politics.
Yeah well my ancestors fought against byzantine empire bulgarian empire mongol empire wich we got massacred but the second time mongol empire invades europe we kick them out , then the ottoman empire austrian empire russian empire hungary fights 1v2 against two empires , and then austrian-hungarian empire wich we got dragged into the war because the austrian King... and we are punished the most lose everything with the treaty of trianon ....

Yeah, but then again, few people alive today have lived in those fcked up times of Soviet communism or whatever. My grandfather died recently. He was born in the last year of WW2. I worry that not having lived in the poverty and horrors of communism, future generations will find the allure of such ideologies.
YES, YES, and YES ! ... I grew up in Canada, born to Hungarian parents who fled after the 56' Revolution. Hungarian was my first language spoken, until I went to school. Growing up in the 80s and 90s was weird with you anglo-saxons and your feminism and later in the 2000s, political correctness, gender ideology, and woke progressive this, woke progressive that. My parents warned me, and later my Hungarian relatives abroad ( when I would visit them in Pest ), were always imploring me to move back, or get married to a Hungarian woman...they made me constantly aware of the authoritarian ideology unfolding in the west, and how feminism, and wokism, was destroying morality, creating divisions and subverting peoples identity. When I asked why they said such things, my grandmother would always say, " because we lived through it here with Communism, and now its happening over there. " Nuff said.
DON’T leave the USA for Hungary. Don’t abandon your country to the communists - you need to do what the Hungarians did and fight for your freedom. Save the West!

"The Picnic That Changed the World" happened in Hungary. People who were alive in 1989 saw how people living under communism broke free at the slightest opportunity to do so. Within months, the Iron Curtain collapsed.

Hungarian here, I like and vote for Orbán but the level of praise you heaped on him was a bit too much even for me. Wouldn't canonise the man just yet 😊 On a serious note, the problem is that we are a small country with relentless pressure heaped upon us to conform to the progressive canon (the EU obviously, witholding funds we are entitled to for political reasons, your very own ambassador, not to mention the soft power in the form of Soros-sponsored NGOs, Netflix, corporate diversity training sessions etc.) All we need is to lose 1-2 elections and the floodgates for migration, gender nonsense etc.will be thrown open. So ultimately, I feel it's very much up to you guys in the US to turn the tide of wokeness around before it consumes everybody. Thank you for showcasing my country, hope you have a great time!
Sadly, that is not going to happen any time soon. The more I ponder on it and listening to some people, I think this has been a long planned coordinated attack through the media, academia and the elites to control the world society. Covid and lock downs really was the first step, BLM followed and then the LGBT+ movement and sudden it's everywhere. Unless brave men and women stand up to these groups, we will be living under the thumb or govt controlled like communism.
I am definitely planning a visit to at least Budapest, would love to look into retiring there from the US, but I may not meet the financial criteria...time will tell I suppose.
Incredible your English is so perfect. I've been speaking French since I grew up there, but with no one in the U.S. to speak it with--or who even cares--am still practicing, thanks to UA-cam.
@@petahpunk- If you don’t speak Hungarian it might be tricky to integrate. Not an easy language to learn esp. in your later years. Failing that, German is probably a better language to know in Hungary than English.
This answered a question I had about Hungary. Since our mainstream media dismisses Orban as some kind of jackboot oligarch, I assumed the opposite was true. But, it was difficult getting confirmation of my hunch until Dave started schooling us about what is really going on in Hungary. And, this interview further drives this point home. I am absolutely thrilled for Hungary!
Your media is kinda right, you just aren't agreeing with those values, but with nationalist ones instead that Orban also presents. Thats about it really objectively. This isn't a situation where one excludes the other. They can be right, he might be a powerhugger stealing half the nation's wealth but you can still like him for his values.
I'm a Hungarian. Orban is a jackboot oligarch, no lie. In fact, he built a mafia that's now channeling money to himself and his friends at every opportunity. There's corruption in every country, but here it is at insane levels. Health and educational systems are crumbling. More than 50% of young people imagine their future somewhere else, just not here. That tells lot. There is no future in this country, unless you are part of the mafia. If you have the stomach to leech on the poor. Orban certainly has no issues with it.
Please do not be fooled. This dude here is in Budapest. Do you know how different Bp is from the rest of the country? Oh- of course not. Health care, education system, transport system are crumbling, and you think Orbán is a good guy, because an american who travelled here said so? Please get more information from actual hungarians. Yes, Orbán stopped a migrant crisis and is not on woke bs, but as you said, he is a jackboot oligarch who stole every single penny from it's country's citizens. He made his middle school bestie the richest man, ffs, purely for shits and giggles. He doesn't care about the condition his precious little hungarian people live in, he only cares that he and his buddies can get richer and richer. Come, live in the countryside for 3 years, you'll see how it really is. And btw, migrants? Forget about callin them that, it's "guest workers". Yes, Orbán did that. Called in thousands of aisan "guest workers" for the factories n stuff, they're all over Budapest, you just have to glance. Orbán is not okay. We have other, aspiring prime ministers that plead to not allow migrants in, and not rob this country either. Still like him?
Haha, yeah. That's a thing. Old George comes up in govt. rhetoric every now and then. Partly because he is a convenient figure to throw at the voters as an enemy, and partly because that fucker does try to meddle with things he should not meddle with.
Thank you for this report and visiting my hometown! Living here is a blessing, like a breath of fresh air in all the madness around us, while constantly being attacked by the EU. Going conservative is the only way to preserve our true human values, I dont see any other healthy options out there. I follow constantly what is going on in the U.S and it is really frightening. In my heart I vote for DeSantis
Preserving human values by flooding BP with "guest workers"... eah, really protecting the hungarian ethnicity with vietnamese and thai minimum wage workers, fantastic...
Leave obsolete UN global asylum protocol. Only way not to lose your country. They will not reform that obsolete protocol so get out while you still can.
One of the biggest draws about moving to Hungary is the extremely inexpensive cost of living, particularly for American retirees looking for a place to land.
I’m a Hungarian who is living in Florida since eight years. I never was an Orban fun until 2022 but the truth is we never had a better option in Hungary because the other parties are worse. Today I’m proud of Viktor Orban and Peter Szijjarto (foreign minister) because they are fighting for not only Hungarian people but for all of us. We need more leaders like them to save our lives and normalities. Thank you for this interview from my beautiful Budapest ❤
Well the really big problem with them - never mind their political views etc... - is the fact they lack real crisis prevention and/or handling policies. Slap together something and call it working because you 'said so' not because it is actually working is the feeling you get when you live here. And as long as it is not working just delay with sentences like 'its a slow process' + 'it isn't supposed to be easy'. Anyone points it out? Liars. Hell i know i dont work for but i'd fall into that category too by their logic. They are just people - worse: politicians. Do not hold them in higher regard than lets say yourself or your loved ones or anyone you actually witnessed helping another human being.

My home country Hungary and l came to USA in 1974 February . I see very different USA now . In Hungary today they have more freedom then here in USA . What a great interview !👏👏👏❤️🇭🇺
I first went to Hungary in 1989. studied there in 1994 and 1999. Been back repeatedly since for work. I felt in the early 90s, and I have been proven correct since, that Hungary has a real role to play in our future. I gleaned from the people I met - even younger students - that there is a national imperative to protect. In the middle ages they were a bulwark against the ottomans. They fought the soviets directly in their Revolution. And now they are a bulwark against the insane “wokeism” that is spreading like a cancer from Brussels, Zurich/Davos, and Washington DC. I don’t agree with the statement on DeSantis. As Governor he’s great but his presidential backers are fully subservient to the ESG/Woke agenda.
I think it maybe a bag of Hot Wheels like an infinite bag of Hot Wheels being fed into a large barn fan we're possibly 100 pirate ghost shaking their to chains I'm really not sure but I feel like there's a good chance one of those two LOL
The thing I feel that for so many leaders of Western countries is the shame they feel for their country and culture. I also feel there's a massive dishonesty amongst our leaders. The distrust and dissatisfaction that people feel towards the traditional parties was most obvious in the recent local elections in England, when the turnout was only about 23 per cent. I feel that no mainstream party speaks for ordinary people. On every major issue, and particularly immigration there's no discernable difference, and that's why Western leaders and media hate Orban. He genuinely cares for his people, his country, and his culture.
That is the obligate state of societies where everyone's vote is worth 1. The truth is that democracy is not going to produce good results, as most people are cognitively handicapped in more than 1 way. Democracy will always elect psychopaths who lie, cheat, steal - cannibalize the very people who voted them into office.
Have you heard about the "guest worker" situation? Haven't you seen the surge of vietnamese and thai minimum wage workers around, especially in Budapest? Yeah and Orbán is saving the hungarian ethnicity, yeah right....
Hungarian here. Those reading this from abroad: my message is a Hungarian saying: The fence isn't made of sausages. To be clear: I've watched the whole video. I'm a conservative. Even though I might agree with some of Orbán's policies, what are missing from this video: 1. Hungary became the second poorest country in the EU during his "leadership". 2. Corruption in the country is high. US ranks (according to transparency international) 24/180 (lower is better), Hungary ranks 76/180. 3. National healthcare (we pay significant amount of taxes, as well as our employers to the healthcare system!) is in ruins. Imagine having to wait 3-5 months to see a specialist or healing in a hospital with no toilet paper and soap, watching the mold grow on the walls of the hospital where plaster broke off a decade ago. 4. The education system is in ruins. Average teacher earns less than an employee in a supermarket. 5. The Hungarian Forint's inflation was over 17% in 2023. Food items' inflation was 25.9%. The list could go on, such as gasoline shortages after introducing price caps, or listing the in progress EU investigations against Hungary due to serious shortcoming in the judicial system and use of EU funds.

What an excellent interview! As a Canadian we are up to our eyeballs in Wokeness. I can't stand it! I am really impressed with Ron DeSantis myself. Really great info about Hungary...😊
I can't help thinking about places to flee as the US crumbles. Once the US military might falls I see SE asian countries overrun by China, central & south American countries like El Salvadore overrun with communists and cartels, and western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand are already lost. I never really considered the former soviet block countries, but they seem like they'd be too cold. Oof! I just checked and the average monthly high in Budapest is 51° and *below* 5 months of the year! Nearly half the year is basically locking you at home!
Hopefully Hungary guards their elections diligently. Things can change easily with the wrong candidate in office. I love Hungary even though I've never been there.
Yes fortunatetly the almighty ruling party has been changing election laws to make them more favourable to them and has been buying out every media outlet so very few places that still have neutural or even an opposition covarage of news, only goverment propaganda now yayy😀

Excellent interview… Mr.Orban is one of the best politician of our time.. he stands for the country and his people! May God Bless him and keep him safe!
no, he did not. He is just lucky, that migrants dont want to stay here, because of poverty. He released all the human traffickers that brought hundreds of thousands illegal migrants to hungary. And if you order something, 95% that the delivery guy is from abroad. Also many of the factories hired ONLY people from south-east Asia. They let all the migrants in, and they let russian spys spread all over EU. He makes Hungary an ally of the Chinese communist. saying "far from perfect" is a kind of understatement, he is a traitor of his country. Selling it to communists and russians.
Dear Americans, if you are thinking of coming to us to visit Hungary, let me say that the food alone is worth it. You'll be in for an incredible treat.
Great interview and info. I had a Hungarian boss years back. He had 3 bullet wounds in his let from a fire fight with Communist troops before he fled the country. Said he was running so hard he only notice after he made it back to his lines. Tough as nails and proud. On a side note have Jacob Marley drag his chains elsewhere during future interviews.
I lived there for a couple of years long ago, near to when the communists were ousted. It was a wonderful time staying and living with people I'd love to live with again. Delightful place.
He glossed over the homogenous part, saying 'there's nothing wrong with diversity', but it couldn't be further than the truth. A homogenous nation is the strongest and safest society you can build. In America's case, no intelligent person being completely honest would say that a 100% European descent population in the U.S is not going to be a far better country than any combination of diversity.
Yeah, but then again, the diversity thing could work WAAAAY better if there was a culture that valued and enforced assimilation, "do as the romans do" and "speak the language the romans speak". Instead of differences and diversity, different groups in the US should value them being an American, loving-working-bleeding human beings and whatnot. So promote cohesion. It's just not the case. Clearly, people like Thomas Sowell (a black guy) or Richard Feynman (jewish) make the US a much better place. Looking back at the past couple of decades of what's going on in the US, it looks like a controlled demolition. Due to birth rates (less than half of all newborns in the US are white) there isn't anything anybody can do about this particular sinking ship.
@@txdmsk Yes, well Sowell is a rare exception and Feynman was a European Jew. It's all or nothing. The different races are just so alien to each other that it's never going to be as effective as a homogenous society. A major factor in the downfall of the Roman western Empire was too much diversity. The only concept that can be the glue is western civilisation, but again that is alien to the mind of a non-European because Europeans are the only ones who developed it. The rest merely copied it.
Yeah, also, even though Hungary is small, Hungarians created a lot of inventions like the ball point pen, Rubiks cube, Word and Excel, holograms, and more. That shows that you don't have to have a diverse country to produce good ideas.
@d3st88 Yes. The US is a nation of immigrants who, in times past, spoke their native language at home, but encouraged their children to learn to speak and read English, because they were grateful to be in the US, and felt it necessary to learn the language. All this, "For Englush, press 1, for Spanish, press 2, etc. is destructive to a cohesive society. So is this hyphenated nonsense. This " African-American", etc business refers to nationality, not race, and IMO is only legit if you hold dual citizenship. The so called "Melting Pot" we are in is slowly boiling us to death.
It depends on what nations you combine. For example, the west and islamic cultures will never cooperate. That's just a fact you can abviously see. If we'd mix europe together, that'd be strong.
I've been wanting to go to Hungary for at least the last 5 yrs. I'm actually considering going and staying for awhile and absorb some of its tradition.
Budapest is so beautiful, it will absolutely blow your mind. I would love to spend a few weeks there every year, if not for the brutal trans-Atlantic flights.
Bp is decent, but not much culture. You want tradition? Go to Eger or Szeged, but oh wait- those are hard to travel to, unless you have a car, cause MÁV has been fucked by Lázár! Woo, thanks so much, fidesz!
The turning point in my view of Hungary was just clicking on an interview with Victor Orban. Previously I’d only been reading about how “right wing” or authoritarian Hungary was so imagine how surprised I was that Orban sounded so rational and normal to me. Definitely looking forward to visiting Hungary soon!
After working overseas for the last 10 years of my career, one of the things that I realized was that many Americans had no idea what it was like in other countries. Some had no idea what it is like in a different state! Just going by what you read in America tells you nothing about the other side of the water. Of course, I learned this a lot earlier by being stationed in Turkey for 14 months while in the US Army (1965-66).
That is true about most peoples in the world. In fact, in ancient Rome there was a word for it: provincial. In other words, most people have no clue what life is outside their own little province. I would argue most people don't even know what's going on in their own home area.
Haven't done a lot of research into Viktor Orban, but he sounds like a statesman. Statesmen are often confused with politicians, but they have completely different skill-sets. A statesman knows how to run a country; a politician knows how to get elected and stay in office.
Forgot to mention that Orban's school friend, a plumber, became the richest person in Hungary. Or that Orban has taken over all public media from TV stations, and radio stations to the smallest local newspapers where the most primitive and easily digestible state propaganda aimed at instilling fear has been broadcast since shortly after he came into power. He's practically taking over all institutions from media, universities, courts and the economy with institutionalized, legalized corruption, blackmail, and making a mockery of tenders where only enterprises connected to fidesz - such as that of his father or plumber friend - can win. He is an enemy of free market, liberty, intellectuals, teachers. He is pathologically afraid of losing and has been working to never lose power, even when losing an election. That's why he grabbed through his lackeys the mass media, the economy, the institutions, and even changed the constitution and electoral laws. You may have a rosy picture of him abroad, but we have 1/3 of voters who thanks to the electoral laws and brain washing from mass media give him 2/3 in parliament and enjoy the highest COVID death rate, inflation, lack of teachers, and the second lowest life quality in Europe. It is the country in the EU where the young want to emigrate from the most.
This shows that you did in fact not done enough research. Orbán is a true blooded politician, he cares about monneyyyyy. He could say he cares about the hungarian people, but the guest workers he brought in? Oh please, thousands of vietnamese and thai minimum wage workers say otherwise. Orbán does not care, and never cared about the state of the country's people. He never will. He cares that his middle school buddy is rich asf, and his little fidesz mafia gets a lot of money from what they created.

As a native Hungarian I can assure you, he tells the truth. Most of the western mainstream medias are corrupted... ☹☹

The hungarian system based on to achieve the most possible lexical knowledge combined with building a logical way of thinking, wich is not the newest method but still better than those where they only want to produce high amount of uneducated workforce.
On top of that woke-ism is not tolerated by the school institutions wich is a great plus for parents who do not want to brainwash their kids.

Thank you for coming to visit and seeing the truth for yourself, Dave. Hope you're having a good time in my city. :)
I can just hear wokeness being crushed throughout this interview.
Does anyone really know what that noise is??? Are they aware it is part of the video or is it more sabotage?

The thing I feel that for so many leaders of Western countries is the shame they feel for their country and culture. I also feel there's a massive dishonesty amongst our leaders. The distrust and dissatisfaction that people feel towards the traditional parties was most obvious in the recent local elections in England, when the turnout was only about 23 per cent. I feel that no mainstream party speaks for ordinary people. On every major issue, and particularly immigration there's no discernable difference, and that's why Western leaders and media hate Orban. He genuinely cares for his people, his country, and his culture.
You are right advocating for your own doesn't seem to be lucrative. Compassion seems to be the hook. Don't do what works do what sounds good.
Even though I might agree with some of Orbán's policies, what are missing from this video:

(Amarican/Hungarian) Plus, on our last visit most Hungarians, under the age of 40, spoke English fluently. The Hungarian people were very patient with us, as we worked on speaking Hungarian with them.
Thank you, Dave! From Hungary
What an excellent interview! As a Canadian we are up to our eyeballs in Wokeness. I can't stand it! I am really impressed with Ron DeSantis myself. Really great info about Hungary...😊
I have actually thought of moving there. It has crossed my mind. No woke idiocy! A great President like Orbon.
There are also other places where the government "rejects" woke :Russia,Belorussia,North Korea,China,etc...
They also have a 0 invasion policy
I can't help thinking about places to flee as the US crumbles. Once the US military might falls I see SE asian countries overrun by China, central & south American countries like El Salvadore overrun with communists and cartels, and western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand are already lost. I never really considered the former soviet block countries, but they seem like they'd be too cold.

Yes fortunatetly the almighty ruling party has been changing election laws to make them more favourable to them and has been buying out every media outlet so very few places that still have neutural or even an opposition covarage of news, only goverment propaganda now yayy😀

Hungary on my list too along with Russia
Russia is still a dictatorship masquerading as a democracy. Keep that in mind. Hungary is a better choice.
You know things are bad in America when people would rather move to Russia.
Just got back from Budapest. What a great city. I would move that country immediately. Safe and people were very warm and friendly
One of the best interviews of the year. Gives me hope other emerging leaders will see orban and desantis and follow.

Great interview, Dave. Rod Dreher is right - Victor Orban is a brilliant leader and Hungary is a beautiful country.
Fuck no, he's not. He's a liar, avoiding questions, exploiting loopholes so his fidesz friends can be richer than everyone. You don't know jack shit, my friend. I'm sorry this guy washed your brain-
I vacationed in Budapest a few years ago. Didn’t know what to expect and was blown away by its charm and friendly people. Felt safe and right at home there. I think I could live there or Switzerland.
Switzerland is also getting woke and overrun by economic migrants that can't or don't want to integrate into society.
I used to love Paris. Now, I wouldn't return to that wretched city EVER.
However, I am looking forward to visiting Hungary.
I was there shortly after Bataclan massacre and the Parisians were nice. There were not many tourists and I think they were happy to see us. Also we stayed in the center so we didn't get trouble from the youth gangs.
And look at France again! It's up in flames. After all the integration of those migrants is going so well, right?
It was lovely to see this video. ❤

Orban is far from perfect, but he kept the migrants out and that saved Hungary.

@@DanielGenis5000 God bless Victor Orban a man of integrity and courage❤
no, he did not.
I am a Hungarian-Canadian born of parents who escaped the Soviets in 1956. Because of Orban, I'm going to apply for dual citizenship.
Dear Americans, if you are thinking of coming to us to visit Hungary, let me say that the food alone is worth it. You'll be in for an incredible treat.
Absolutely spot on!!
Thanks for interviewing Rod!!
💯 Great interview!
It's a nice place.
Isn't that usually the case? Everyone who opposes liberal progressive narratives are now instantly called Right Wing.
Media smear campaign. News blackout of the truth.
“Rational and normal” is now vilified by the Marxist left (lead by Biden) as “far right extremism” and an “existential threat to democracy”.
"Orban sounded so rational and normal to me" Yeah guess what, he's a politician, that's his job.
@@BrutalOrc And he's doing his job well...
One of my favorite places that I visited
After working overseas for the last 10 years of my career, one of the things that I realized was that many Americans had no idea what it was like in other countries. Some had no idea what it is like in a different state! Just going by what you read in America tells you nothing about the other side of the water. Of course, I learned this a lot earlier by being stationed in Turkey for 14 months while in the US Army (1965-66).
That is true about most peoples in the world.
In fact, in ancient Rome there was a word for it: provincial. In other words, most people have no clue what life is outside their own little province.
I would argue most people don't even know what's going on in their own home area.
Enjoyable. Thank you
I live in Houston,Texas, after growing up in woke Oregon.
I am a product development chemist, and am looking at Poland or Hungary to relocate.
I just moved. It is truly lovely.
It would be nice to have a hub where (non-woke, respectful) people who are considering to move or have moved to Hungary can communicate.
Best interview I have heard in many years - great guest and you facilitated the conversation wonderfully.
Victor Orban is awesome. I have liked and followed him and the country ever since Tucker Carlson properly introduced us to him and that great nation
He is anything but that. He stole billions of euros from the people of Hungary, including me
Great political perspectives in this conversation.
Awesome.
Orban knows as do the rest of true Hungarians🔥
Awesome Dave!! Thank you for sharing this!!❤️👍
Tucker's interview with Orban was well worth listening to
Oh yeah! Did Tucker ask Orbán about his Covid policies? That was something as disgusting as it was that Bolchevik bitch's in Michigan.
All the respect to Mr Orban the prime minster of Hungary.
Haven't done a lot of research into Viktor Orban, but he sounds like a statesman. Statesmen are often confused with politicians, but they have completely different skill-sets. A statesman knows how to run a country; a politician knows how to get elected and stay in office.
Well, just don't tell anyone in Hungary that you think he is a statesman, because more likely than not we will laugh in your face.
