Knowing Maleficent she always does some sort of curse spell into the sky with dark clouds and such, and Hades well.. I'm not sure but he would be coming from the underworld so probably instead of the sky breaks the ground HAHA

I hope the fairy tale biome has fairies 🧚 as the “critter”. Then we can have fairy companions who follow us around. I imagine the bird animation could work with them, they spin and twirl in the air with joy when you give them a gift.
Tinker Bell maybe?? I can't see a fairy being a critter since it's closer to a human, and Tinker Bell could 100% be an upcoming character with Peter Pan and her coming from Skull Rock potentially.

Given what we now have, I'm actually hoping the characters other than Hades and maleficent are Aurora, Prince Philip, hercules, and Megara.
In the survey from last year, it seems they asked on starpaths, some of choice were fairytale and mythology. And I believe in current survey, they seems ask if want biomes more gear to regular lands or based on franchises. It's possible it's gonna be dlc to focus on two major franchises: Sleeping beauty and Hercules.
That's my hope.

Skull Rock is from Peter Pan, so maybe we'll get Peter, Hook, and/or Tinkerbell.
wouldn't that be too obvious though? I think they would put more nods towards peter pan & tinkerbell if that was what to happen, but since they don't I think we may get Jack Sparrow as a surprise there!

Hook has always been a better villain than Peter Pan was a hero, so I'd expect to see Hook and Sparrow teaming up and Peter nowhere to be seen 😏
Remember OUAT? their version of Hook wasn't perfect, but he was definitely miles better than their version of Pan... It just goes to show we all prefer good villains to badly painted heroes...

As for OUAT, the only difference between that and the LA remake films is that OUAT didn't try to replace the animated classics in kids' memories.

In Kingdom Hearts, another (amazing) game series that has you befriending, fighting against, and being in disney properties, Pirate's of the Caribbean was the first live action movie to join the series in KH2 with Port Royal and Jack, Barbossa, Will and Elizabeth.

I doubt Jack Sparrow is the one stuck inside skull rock. According to the forgotten, it's someone we use to play it. For me, that doesn't scream Jack Sparrow.

Would make sense with the bookstand thing we before. And it would add a nice sagway on how to get to other dimensions even tho we still have several docks in that castle addition we used to get to the Isles.
The tapestry reminds me of a breakup photo ripped in half. That plus Disney's history of pairing Maleficent and Hades (I found a House of Mouse episode from 2003 where they were on a date) makes me think maybe this might be about their relationship being on the rocks.

What about the upper area of the forgotten lands? Seems it is a biome because why have that there? Thought that is where maleficent would be.

Something to consider about the majority of the characters included in Eternity Isle is that they were all related to characters who were already part of DDV (Wall-E, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast), particularly those that they had not focused on up to that point. I think it's likely that they will follow that same trend with the next DLC. In keeping with the Fairy Tale/Mythology trend, I think we could absolutely get Cinderella with this next DLC. Other predictions could be Shang (Mulan), Arthur (Sword and the Stone), Bruno (Encanto), and maybe even some Atlantis characters???
I think everything happens for a reason. I have recently watched all Descendants movies and as those who watched know, Maleficent and Hades...are somehow connected to each other there 😏 so I'm in awe that they've decided to connect these two characters in the game!! 😍 And this concept of mythological vs. fairytale seems very interesting too!!

Four biomes sound good, but I sincerely hope they don't continue with the sub-biomes introduced in Eternity Isle. Way too many items spawn in those tiny little areas to continually keep clean. I find in a couple of the really small areas I have to clear things out just to be able to move through the area - it's that compacted. Four LARGE biomes would be better. I kind of expected Maleficent to be in the main part of the game, and Hades to be DLC, so it's a bit surprising.
I think Maleficent is part of the DLC (if so) because Gameloft already used her as a main villain in Magic Kingdoms, so it would and wouldn't make sense using the same pattern. Probably that they keep it original from both sides that Dreamlight Valley doesn't always use the original storylines on how characters enter the valley because most stories have already happened, so Maleficent being a DLC character is probably their way of saying that they wanna keep her original to the plot instead of reusing her as a main villain
there's 2 books in the Pirate's franchise that were kiinda relevant with the franchise. the giant book that had to be carried by 2 people that contained the pirate's code. then the second was a book that lead to an island of stars and the Trident of Poseidon.
either way, i am definitely going to be buying it.

@@whydewucare no but I have just had a thought we had 2 books we couldn't do anything with and still cant. At least we can pick them up now but maybe these books will play a part in the possible future dlc
The tear in the tapestry makes me feel like Merida could be a character that helps to mend the bond

I’m so happy you made this video!! I’m so excited for what is coming in the next expansion. Both teams sound amazing and can’t wait to see what furniture items are coming in the game from each character.
things we know about eternity isle: 1. it was time-themed, but rapunzel, gaston, and eve have nothing to do with time (or even the biomes they exist in).... 2. it was also aladdin themed but only Jafar as a character from the movie made it into the game via the dlc. and finally 3. the palace from Agrabah is heavily featured in the promotional material of Eternity Isle, but this location is a very small part of the overworld map... all i'm saying is... let's temper our expectations. theorizing is fun and all, but you can also get carried away to make yourself disappointed when you overtheorize. in the end, we won't really know anything until the 2nd dlc actually comes out... the only thing I get out of this picture: 1. there will be a 2nd dlc and 2. Maleficent and Hades will be obtainable at some point in this dlc. My thoughts on Jack Sparrow: I always imagined they would add him as a cameo at some point, my guess is that he could be a free character in the future or maybe a random dlc character (adding Jack Sparrow could also lead the way to possibly having more newly acquired IPs to get into the game like: Winnie-the-Pooh, Kermit the Frog, Darth Vader, Spider-Man, TRON etc....Barring the muppets and Marvel, all of these franchises have made it into the Disney series Kingdom Hearts so I don't think it's that far-fetched)

A Villains Land is being added to the Magic Kingdom in Disney World. They've released artwork for it and some details, but not a ton as it was just confirmed at D23 last month. All that to say - villains aren't going anywhere in this game! Can't wait to see what happens next in DLV!

So according to what I too have seen yep I have looked there looks like there will be a possible 5 new biomes. That's kinda cool I have taken a look around the valley and I have some ideas of where these biome may be forgotten lands, the glade to the beach, the frosty mountains, the beach the other end, oh and this secret doorway I found in the game. the areas are definitely different and they look like they may possibly lead to these 5 new biomes.
Of course I don't know nobody does but it's definitely fun to look and guess.
Mythology: Mulan, Pocahontas, Hercules, Brave, Atlantis (all this Movies base on Mythology and Legends)
Storybook: Snowwhite, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast (maybe Lumiere and Co?), Arielle (Flunder and Sebastian?), Peter Pan, Hunchback of Notre Dame, 101 Dalmatian, Aladdin, Tangled, Kiss the Frog (Maybe Naveen?), Winnie the Pooh etc
First things that come to mind for each:
Fantasy - Snow White, Genie (Aladdin), Peter Pan, a character from Alice in Wonderland, a character from Winnie the Pooh,
Mythology - Character from Atlantis (Kida or Milo, leaning towards Milo as he is heavily associated with ancient language and books), Sword in the Stone (Arthur or Madam Min?), Robin Hood (the characters literally just showed up in the most recent survey), Pirates of the Caribbean? (there are a lot of mythological curses and things throughout the movies soooooo)
I looked at the game files on my PC. In my opinion, the biomes all look like they have generic placeholder names such as Savanna, which I read as being Sunlit Plateau.
I do like the name Storybook Vale though. At face value, it sounds like it'll be a very Cottagecore place to me.
For a minute I thought that the biome behind Hades was the Sugar Rush game 😅 I absolutely can’t wait for the new DLC and I’m looking forward to the new Showcase stream (it’ll be my first time)! Everything book related is my jam so I’m super happy! I hope they bring Atlantis characters ❤ If the DLC will drop at the end of this year together with cross saving for PS users I’ll be the happiest girl in the world 😂
Jack sparrow could be onnthe mythology side as he has experienced mythological creatures in his films like mermaids and The Kraken

I'm looking at the window and to me it looks like the window for the Dwarf Cottage or maybe it's just my extreme hope that Snow White coming to DDV. My ideal DLC would be Star Wars.
It may be a hot take, but I find Disney villains WAY more interesting and entertaining than Disney princesses. Maleficent is my all time fav villain. Here's my wallet, Gameloft. Have at it.

I’m excited about this new DLC. It sounds like an idea with a lot of promise that can be made to fit just about any Disney character. For future DLCs, I’d LOVE to see an Alice in Wonderland theme, or even Winnie the Pooh Hundred Acre Woods theme. As an aside, I’m going to be real disappointed if we get Jack Sparrow before a Peter Pan character or Snow White.

You bet I would buy the DLC I love this game. Villains is part of any game so you have to have them Game loft can do a lot with this game their pearl is their oyster.
But it does make sense if jack sparrow is introduced bc every pirates of the Caribbean movie is based on a different nautical mythology. Sirens, fountain of youth etc

I was so happy to see both Maleficent and Hades. Then il have my 3 fav villians in the valley (ursula). If adding herc world characters, it would be herc and phil. With maleficent, maybe one of the fairys. Its a tricky one but i love fairytales and mythology, cant wait
If Hades is comming, perhaps Hercules and Meg too? Would fit right in with Greek Mythology. I wonder if the first part of next expansion we'll get three characters too...
BRAVE, I don’t see anybody mentioning this but the tapestry being torn in half is something straight up from Brave. If we go by Brave story you can tell what this story will be about.
Maleficent and Hades were friends or in alliance and something happened that they fought and end up breaking the tapestry and now your job is to reunite them and fix the tapestry.

The wording of Storybook for the other main biome makes me think of Winnie the Pooh, which they have asked about in surveys so potentially a character from that realm

I think it's impossible to predict what characters will be in the dlc. Because like you've said Gaston, Eve and Rapunzel have nothing to do with Jafar so they could continue on that road or change it to make sense we will have to wait
Probably in November a stream like last year and beginning of December the dlc. I don't see why not
@@audreysamandler humm yeh I thought originally we were gonna get repunzel in the valley due to all the clues when you come across the tree stumps they all have the repunzel sun on them then she appears in the isle.
There must be a reason for that. I don't think they have finished with the isle yet the story maybe but not completely there is way much potential on the isle. I wouldn't be surprised if we have to go back there for certain tasks even when we do get a new dlc.

If Jack Sparrow is behind Skull Rock that would be amazing, but I'm still unsure how they'll design his cartoon appearance...I hope its better than some other games I've seen.
The forgotten said they played with whoever was in Skull Rock, and I can't see Jack Sparrow playing with a couple of kids. So... probably Peter Pan or other juvenile character.

Our confirmed 'Book Readers' (besides myself 😉) in "DLV" are "Belle" and "Merlin", so I'm expecting both of them to be heavily involved in the quests. 📚

Disney World is building a Villains land in Magic Kingdom so it tracks there. I’m excited about the new DLC! I have been wanting Tinker Bell since the game came out! This new chapter will be so much fun. I hope they focus on making sure the new updates function properly before pushing them out to us. If they want us to see the value and continue to play then the functionality must be there. We can’t pay premium prices for things that don’t work.
Tokyo Disney I think (could be Shang Hai) has built a Neverland area and their Skull Rock looks exactly like in game. I think Hook is in there to give the base game another villain cause it’s been a long time and the villains are always locked away somehow

It would be awesome if there was a biome that resembled the 2019 Maleficent Mistress of Evil Enchanted Forest (love that movie) I feel like this may be possible based on the ending of A Rift in Time ❤ I personally like seeing these videos and if you don’t like spoilers, you provide a warning in the beginning.

This could be so off but its my theory and im sticking with it 😅 : if we look at the characters we got from eternity isle, thats two villains (Jafar and Gaston) one princess (Rapunzel) one classic (Oswald) and one regular 21st century movie character (sorry eev i love you, youre adorable) - it looks like we are getting two villains again, could it be a pattern? I have no idea 😂 Aurora would make sense, id personally really like to see Cinderella come to the game as she also fits the whole fairytale aspect and we have had fairy gm for EVER, then maybe Sinbad? Isnt the whole plot about retrieving a book? I havent watched the movie in like 20 years but the its got mythology and books 🤷🏽♀️ for the last one im debating between these two, so next year both pluto and the black cauldron are celebrating anniversaries, 95 and 40 respectively, I think they will want to do some sort of celebration/hommage as weve seen in the past! Those are my guesses, i wanted to write them down so I can come back later and see how wrong i was LOL (or who knows maybe i guessed one right)
Please bring pain and panic with hades and diavel with malificent, whenever I think of these two villains I always think of their sidekicks before other characters
