i started playing this game a few months ago, and some of my tips i wish i knew earlier on is leveling up certain villagers are way more important then others. getting merlin, maui, elsa, ana, scar, are very important for clearing out the obstacles. also the very last quest requires you to have scar, moana, mickey, and elsa level 10 to finish, which took me a while. those villagers in my opinion are some of the top priority.
I've been playing a lot of farming games. This one really drove me crazy because I had to find out a lot of things by myself, I usually don't go watch tips on youtube but for this one, it was much needed, thank you, watching your video made me love the game much more.
My only tip is that you can move all the berry bushes and fruit trees to one condensed area instead if being forced to go all over the map to harvest them. I only had one quest come up where I had to move the blueberry bushes BACK to the Forest of Valor, but I moved them back right afterwards.
Played this on Xbox, got a couple of biomes open. Now playing from the start on Mac, will play more as my Xbox blew up lol. Really want to excel in this game in all areas including decor. Subbed straight away.

The only problem with making souffle early game is lack of coal unless you've got Kristoffs stall (which was your tip but has to be done first) I knew about holding the button for gardening and digging, why don't I hold it for mining, geez all this time lol. The tip about shells, it works slightly different, you need to split them before you drop them and pick them up. They don't scatter like flowers but all these tips sound great!
This is absolutely amazing! Tysm Mr. Star! I am a novice dreamer, and these tips were easy to remember and you kept my attention to your list of awesome and helpful tips. I can’t thank you enough for saving me time on wondering what I am supposed to be doing in DDV! Also! A tip from me is: craft as many chests as you can and hide them throughout the valley. I like to have mine decorated so I hide my chests next to things that remind me what is in the chest. Example: I keep my wood gathering chest behind a tree in my forested areas. It’s a good temporary alternative for those who want to build storage themed rooms in their house.
hey, In the next tips video. Please add in that you need to unlock Maui and complete his cocnuts quest as quick as possible. In order to get the stall from Kristoff you will need to get coconuts from Maui first
Also have chests in your furniture inventory you can drop them anywhere you are close to you put items in and then go back to furniture and save it and you have unlimited carrying potential
Actually if you have a fishing buddy during the time that the here and there fish are available and you fish those you will sometimes get +4 I not including the one you caught. Those are probably one of if not the most expensive fish and will make you sooo much star coins! By now most people know that and I believe you have to complete Nalas star quests to be able to fish them and they are only available, I believe from 6am-10am and 6pm-10pm!! Happy valleying 😊😊

I can't bring myself to do it either because I only ever like 1 item a day if I'm lucky They say because better items will come but one day I bought just about everything cuz cinderella items were in there, and I still get the same items all the time
The tip I give most often online is to unlock every character as soon as possible and get them to level 2, you don’t need to play with them after they get to level 2 if you don’t want to, but by getting them there if there is a task in the next/future starpaths that says hang out with or gift a specific character then you will have access to them quickly to be able to complete that task. I only recommend doing this cause when I first started playing I was playing so slowly that I wasn’t unlocking characters until the next update after they were released and it almost bit me in the butt when I needed Nala for the starpath but I hadn’t unlocked her yet and I had like 3 days left before the end of that starpath.
Can you explain houses? I see that people have put Oswald’s houses into the valley. Does that mean Oswald is no longer in the other land? Can you put other houses in different places? Does the character then go to each others universe? Also, I don’t understand the number of items you can put down in your valley on top right hand corner when I’m landscaping I have reached my 600 number item list. I’m not sure what items they are. Are they trees are they Rocks are they whatever?
remember if you have forgotten lands there is a big rock formation along the side towards sunlit platou... make shure to place something "inside" it... you can walk through it and things can spawn there... I had a chest spawn in there-.-'
I’m on day 3 and I love it!!!! I wish I would have known to save all my coal, I didn’t think I would be cooking as much and I sold over 100 it to Goofy & now when I find a cool recipe I wanna try, I’m scrambling around for more coal 😂

Over to the left is a purple box and when you click on it , it shows all the characters. To sure what the purpose of that box is. Would you happen to know
I don't know if it's a bug, but when I missed two days last week, I only got one blue chest and three green ones. The next day I didn't go into the game again, and a day later there was one blue and two green again
The dlc has accesss to pinnapples which sale for omost as much as pumpkins 🎃 do. And, the pinnapples are much easier to gain access to early on an start farming an saling. Compared to pumpkins 🎃 which tales alot more effort to unlock conpared to pinnapples If you can afford it, get the dlc, an unlock Pineapples 🍍
Timebending is the only one currently giving bonus. The garden and mining are only giving a bonus of one. I asked about this on the ddlv server and was told one is the expected and anything over one was a glitch
@@mrStarInSky I currently have half of my village as timebending and half as mining. I get +4 or +9 on timebending items and +1 on mining. When I asked on the DDLV discord if I needed to place a ticket they said +1 is supposed to be the limit

I’m playing on a Laptop. How do you rotate an object? I have had an item rotate when I tap the touchscreen only sometimes. I’m not able to rotate an object with the mousepad.
MrStarInSky this video will help a lot of newcomers! I’ve been playing DDLV since the beginning, and actually learned something new in tip 19! I knew that if you keep holding button when digging or planting/harvesting crops that you would continually keep doing so (Switch hints about it when you do that action) but didn’t know that it works for mining as well, so thanks! (Switch does not hint it)👍🏻⭐️🙂 Question about tip 5: I’ve known that you can change time of day in game but I’ve never used it because I heard it can glitch your game, (ie: losing items, disappearing items, bugs/glitches) and was wondering if you’ve heard of it? Also, I’m wondering if changing time of day would disrupt respawning of items you may need for quests or special timed events?
You're not actually changing the time of day - just the graphics that a time of day would have. It doesn't affect game play or anything else. It's not the same as time-skipping.
just in case: as a new player the golden potato code might/will not work but you can now find the golden potato in scrooge vault door you will see some golden glitter coming from the door just press your pickup button and it pops out
Wish the blue chests didn’t cap at 3 I log on everyday to go to Scrooges but after work I am usually too tired to scan the entire map. Or they could’ve kept the blue chests spawning to the main map only.
i don't get the saving seeds, once you have a good stock pile of coins. If I really need something for a quest, they are easily purchasable from the Goofy stalls.
Okay update: I only learned one thing, but you absolutely blew my mind. I’ve known you can hold down the button to continue mining, farming, etc. But for some reason I’ve always thought you had to tell it where to dig the next spot? 🤦🏻♀️ I’ve been playing since the villain star path and you just changed my life in the game. I nearly screamed when I tried digging and went in a straight line 🤣

That may be a good idea in a very beginning, but as you start farming pumpkins, money won't be a problem anymore to buy ingredients and make souffleys for energy:)

If you do 3 gooseberries, 1 blueberry, and 1 raspberry in your berry salad, it gives you 3,455 in energy 😮

Don’t forget to go to Kristoff’s and buy every day just the items necessary like the Iron .

If you dont have the dlc for berry salad use blueberries " raspberries" an gooseberries.

At the very beggining of the game, you have access a wardrobe in "touch of magic". You can use it to store your stuff.
You can use gliders too

Another easy one is the seafood tower. You just need to collect clams and oysters on the beach (4) and 1 lemon and it gives you 5000 energy

'There's a certain requirement that needs to be met before it triggers. I think it's unlocking Dazzle Beach, but I'm not sure...

it did not work with arcade version, hate that I started playing on Iphone :( other consoles are much better and I really want the starpath

In one of my accounts the potato quests is no longer available but I was able to finish it on the other account.

The energy bar starts small but gets bigger as you level up your character with it capping at level 40.
I understand that. I've been at 40 since the game started, but my bar is smaller than most content creators and I was wondering if that is a mod.

Instead of using your own ingredients travel to ratatouille's realm and make you a five star menu item, eat & then farm.
That may be a good idea in a very beginning, but as you start farming pumpkins, money won't be a problem anymore to buy ingredients and make souffleys for energy:)
