You guys are in a middle of swarm, in a super tight area, your team is SUPER unaware of the Bulk because they held their ground in the shield, and that thing is gonna get them real soon. It's much riskier to NOT pop the BULK right there and then, rather than trying to regroup after you just threw the shield. Buy them a drink at the bar later, but if this were HAZ 4/5, I believe your actions would likely saved the run lmao
I never found leadbursters that effective. threw them few times under Pretorian and though it was useless on single target even though I though all the bullet would go into bug if grenade is right under it. and Rock and Stone!
Praets and oppressors are resistant to pierce and bullet damage. Bulks are resistant to bullet damage, but not pierce, so the Leadburster's rounds hit their soft spots anyways.

@@seandicon They're not too good, burst damage on big squishy targets is the one thing they do very well. Otherwise, they're quite unreliable clear, and always stunlock dwarven shields (unless you put a gunner shield down first, and toss the leadburster outside of it)

it hits all 3 bulbs at the same time and doesn't deal explosive damage (which bulks are resistant to). If you throw it right most of the bullets hit the target too so it's really good specifically for bulks.

@@JayHog1992 3 plasma burster grenades down a bulk you just have to throw it on it's booty. With rj250 and hover boots it's very easy to do and i main rj250 as my secondary on engineer because fire damage is needed on higher hazards when there as so many bugs grouped up.

rj250 is short for rocket jump 250 meter overclock on the Deepcore 40mm PGL (grenade launcher) basically you shoot under yourself while airborne by jumping or falling and get launched up like a scout grappling hook, takes some practice but once you are good at it, it's honestly extremely fun it also launches your teammates so with good coordination you can fire it to send any friend flying up like a gunner so he can send a line to the team. The overclock also adds a lot more ammo and using incendiary compound with any of the area damage with nails and tape with spiky grenade you got yourself something that can down 50 grunts in 1 shot from the burn if they are close enough. In the case that grunts are on you, you can basically play can't catch me and just rocket jump overthem as if playing super mario except its with a grenade launcher and they burn to death and scream. With hover boots and dash you can go insane distances and with plasma burster you can go higher up use hover boots and rain bursters down nuking oppressors, detonators and dreadnaughts.@@JayHog1992

I'm not going to sugarcoat this. It was also partially the rest of the team's fault for dying. Before the Detonator exploded, you can see that the rest of the team is in a tunnel and has more room, which they didn't utilize, to retreat to. Even if they didn't realize what you were doing with those lead bursters, they still had time to react to the Detonators death animation/sound effect before it blows up in order to run, dash or grapple away.
i dont think they evne realised he detonator was there before the death animation started, and the corridor seems pretty small. you can see scout tried to escape, as he is on the very edge of the crater, but considering he died, the rest of the team never had a chanche to escape, considering you barely have enough time to escape it when you are aware of about when its gona blow up when your right next to it. most people would just panic in that case and not be abel to escape, ecpecialy when yo are in a small tunnel whith glyphis flowing from 1 side.

Praets and oppressors are resistant to pierce and bullet damage. Bulks are resistant to bullet damage, but not pierce, so the Leadburster's rounds hit their soft spots anyways.

Wait, three lead bursters is enough to take down a bulk? At what haz level? I suppose it does take a lot of the bullets into its massive bulk.
Depending on how precise you are it can take as little as 2 if I'm not mistaken. I think this mission was Haz 4.

Bulks get pierced by lead bursters so it hits their weakpoints which crits and deal a lot of damage so you kill the bulk fast with it.
